We are pretty unhappy with the USPS (supposedly) 2 day delivery. Admittedly there was a holiday, but we saw a package that left here on Saturday take 5 damn days to reach Ohio. This is totally bullshit - we dropped the idea of using USPS. Everything is shipping FedEx. It costs over $100 to overnight a starter kit, but this is the only reliable way to get these kits to you guys quickly.
Expedited shipping will be FedEx overnight (domestic). Canada overnight might still work there - I'll check with Yvonne.
Non expedited shipping will be FedEx 2 day.
The problem we ran into is that USPS only guarantees 2 day delivery in "certain zones" - something they didn't bother to tell Yvonne when she was researching this.
Since Bitcoin mining is a game of days at this point, megabigpower.com will ship FedEx from now on, period.
We still have about 2 days of shipping left to do. I'm expecting more product tomorrow, but there's been a back up of stuff in AK customs. It should be cleared by now, but I can't tell by looking at the tracking info. It says expected delivery tomorrow.
Cheers, Dave

Would that still need to solider/short some of those pins or that's meant to just flip the switch and that's it?? Put 24 pin connector from PSU into this board, and flip the switch. No soldering. It has standby and power up LEDs. Very clean install, IMHO.

Hey Dave, keep up the solid work. With your statement above can we assume that orders leaving today will have Saturday delivery attached as well? 1632 blocks left

Not defending the US Postal Service by any means, but Express Mail (their overnight option) is actually subbed out to FedEx - and has never let me down. The starter kits you sent me were Express Mailed (and I know their light weight were less than $100 to ship) and arrived by noon time next day - Washington State to Massachusetts - 'Priority Mail' / 2 day usps mail, on the other hand, is subject to the normal post office slowness and has no guarantee associated with it ... more of a 'best effort' service on their part

Yeah you are correct about the not guaranteed part I almost called them yesterday, but then read that it says not to contact customer service until 5 or more days. My item shipped out last Saturday and is finally going to arrive sometime today. MAIL CLASS DELIVERY STANDARD CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER: First-Class Mail® 2 - 3 days (not guaranteed) 5 or more Days from the date of mailing Priority Mail® 1, 2, or 3 days (not guaranteed) 5 or more Days from the date of mailing Either way, it is pretty shitty of them to label it as "Priority Mail 2-Day" with a Scheduled Delivery Day: September 3, 2013 on the tracking and yet it doesn't arrive until the 6th. Especially when a signature is required. I am just lucky my roommate is home during the daytime.

Dave, put a full kit order on Sept 4. I had a payment question. I put the question in on my order notes and I sent a separate e-mail just to make sure it got answered.
No answer yet. You may be bogged with e-mails so I'm not complaining. Searched your FAQ and then searched this thread and the last time my question was asked in this thread was Aug 14th.
So I asking here in public. I need to pay my order with CC. What is your status on accepting payments by CC.
After getting burned badly by BFL and can't commit to any other sort of payment method.
thanks

Dave is still working on it. Don't worry, I paid all my with CC. Besides your spot is reserved when order is placed, they will get a hold of you for the rest. His communication is a bit slower now with all the shipping etc... I normally got replies from him within an hour when I sent any emails before.

Howdy Rich!
Yes, cable ordered and on it's way. The version 2 M-boards should replace these in the near future, so it won't be an issue at some point, but it was very frustrating this evening. Of all possible orientations for the RasPi, who could even have imagined it ending up flat, backwards, and upside down all at the same time ? And I still love the case even though it may have seemed like I was bitching about it in the pictures....
Ah...wasn't the only one a tad frustrated. Thought I had erred in my installation somehow last night as the RasPi was pressed against the psu. Had to shift it over a bit to make everything more flush. Very minor issue that can be alleviated with an extension which I'll do this weekend. Either way however, great miner Dave and solid case Rich! Everything feels quite thoughtfully built. Everything has been a pleasure. On a side note, it seems almost intentional to provide 2 sets of M-Boards to entice us to purchase more H Boards I split my boards up between the two and the empty slots are just begging to be filled. Don't think I would have thought twice if it was fully populated, heh

Your cooler seems excessive, the general notion over at the Eu-thread is that the chips like to run hot, Even bitfury himself has stated this. Just for reference Im running mine without fans in 25-33c ambient.

Maybe they won't last 10 years.... Maybe only 7.... The useful lifetime of these boards is measured in months at this point... OC FTW ! Heat those babies up

Currently however, it seems to be running fine at my pool, but if a couple degrees up will increase the speed, it is an adjustment worth making considering.

My thoughts exactly. I'm hoping for 12 months, but I am most definitely an optimist. If there was a way to OC, I'd be all over that.

These seem to be very efficient chips - nearly as much so as the new 28 nm stuff coming out. I'm hoping for a useful year, too, because when these aren't cost effective anymore, nothing currently on the market or expected to be on the market this year will be, either.

Atleast one person so far has done this and has reported about 10% gains from it. It does void the warranty and does require a skilled professional to do, but is possible.

How are you balancing the remaining august preorders vs the 18 TH you have running? Do we have to wait for you to get more boards?
