Even at $200/btc, the roi on 1 x h-board at 35% difficulty jump is barely over 1.5btc or $300. We've been jumping 40% every 10.x days.
Next jump is already looking to be 39.5%. I would guess 41% jump in 2.5 days, which puts it on 10/27/2013 Sunday. Difficulty: ~393,470,313

As the saying goes, the only ones getting rich during a gold rush are the early adopters and shovel vendors. And the early adopters already have their gear. I would hope that this isn't news to anyone.

I just got some old style H cards today so I shutdown and inserted the cards. And of course when I restarted, the SD card won't boot. This has happened every single time I've shutdown and restarted. Why?! Now I have to re-image the card and try again. What am I doing wrong here?

You should have a few already flashed, then it's a 30 second issue.

I picked up a few spare SDs for ~$6. not sure if it helps, but i've been adding the 'sync' command before shutting down my bitfurys...like the old days.

I ALWAYS turn off the psu if i want to turn off the miner, and turn on the miner via turning on the psu

I imaged both the cards again and voila, running again. The cards are running well without OC at 33GH/s average between the 4 new cards.

I've been using shutdown, but it reboots automaticly. so when it asks for a login i turn off the power supply. so far that hasn't hurt the SD card.
