Why is it the same people posting in this thread over and over again? Most of them are registered this year with very few posts...

Bitcoin was only 15.75 on January 1, 2013.  A lot of people were like me and didn't really pay much attention to it until it showed quick upward movement in early March and then promptly flew off into space.  I also didn't feel there was much to talk about until I invested in this security.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Heh AMC has been a fun but somewhat rocky road to travel so far, hopefully ActM will be a smoother ride Smiley.

Also just to say the tender process is working, I did a Bitfunder tender and received the ActM shares about 23 hours later.

Looks like you're one of the lucky ones, I guess I'll resend the email since I've been waiting 3 days.

Weekly pre-order amount updates? Would be interesting to see the effect of the advertising campaign. Just an idea the moment. What are the potential downsides to this approach?

Not sure he would like that info divulged out in the open. This is a pretty extreme example of insider information being disseminated to people who could take advantage. This stuff should be released on a schedule, and very publicly

have been part of active miner from the day it was started and before that AMC.. must say it fels good to finally have some structure in the company.. i hope the board gets finalised soon.. many many thanks to VBs and lewicki.. you guys sure help the community.. all that remains is the financial report and imo that would really help solidify the trust of the newbie investors in this security.. Good work guys and Best of luck to Ken and his team..  Grin

Not to isolate AMC here, not at all....but this is the huge problem I see with all these stocks/funds...the management doesn't know how to keep their mouths shut about sensitive info, and even if they did, they share it with their BFF's before everyone else pretty much rampantly and without recourse.

Who pays for these indiscretions? All of the nobodies like us that funded these companies and own the majority of shares, we are left holding the bag. They all need to learn a few things about insider trading and self dealing. It may take some of them being sued to get the message through their thick arrogant skulls.

They should announce all publicly released info to the shareholders in official news releases, and if they as directors buy or sell ANY number of share in their own funds they should announce it publicly within 24 hours to the shareholders.

So I thing enough time passed for me to ask this. What happened to those big wires from last week? A lot of hype around them and then there wasnt confirmation if they were real or not.

This is partly why a board was requested. Give it a time to get sorted and then to a to establish itself properly. Neither will happen overnight. Also, don't prejudge what it will be or how it will work.

Doing things properly means not doing everything in a mad rush.

That dip had happened beforehand but the information is just going to help cause further unrest in shareholders that are sitting back and watching.  Really bad timing.

I think the financial position to write clearly, when faced with the crisis, fell, it should explain why a company spokesperson

The timeframe is too small. The time between the order and actually receiving the money can be large. Monthly (more detailed) statements with accompanying press releases, seem adequate.
