No way - The Crypo Space is here to stay - people who get in love with this tech won't leave, ever, unless they would lose all their money. Bitcoin would (and actually probably one day will) be replaced by some other coins.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

People will definitely lose interest in other cryptocurrencies if eventually bitcoin dies because bitcoin seem to be at the fore-front  of cyrptocurrencies and as such would bring about the loss of interest. The altcoin, I would invest in if this happens, would be Ethereum.

I think not, it's because the value of bitcoin is increasing overtime and contrary to what others believe that it's a bubble. Even there are times which its value is falling down it will come back strong and will have a higher value sooner or later.

I think people will not lose interest in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Because there will always be new enthusiasts in the world of crypto, we just need to spread the word about the benefits of cryptocurrencies to everyone.

Hello!

current situation shows that  people will be more interested  in bitcoin in future. so the probability of losing interest is too low. 2018 will be better year for the growth of the bitcoin.as it is not stable yet, if a high decrease in price happen then some short time investor can lose interest. but perfect foresight people will be more interested. they will invest more and wait for the price to increase.
in case people lose interest in bitcoin they also lose interest in other cryptocurrencies.
I don't know which cryptocurrency I will choose if I lose interest in bitcoin.time will give the answer.

I doubt that they will and Bitcoin will die. But if Bitcoin will ever die for an unknown reason, probably, the interest of people will not vanish towards cryptocurrency. There are still lot of cryptos to choose from where people will earn huge profit  and that is enough to make them interested into something because of the profit.

many altcoins have potency than bitcoin. why focus on bitcoin as long as there are altcoins that have a good future in shaping a blockchain-based world. the current situation of bitcoin is one of the highly valued crypto currency ambasador as an investment but we should not forget that altcoin also has a roadmap and a suitable destination in running its program

I think that bitcoins will never come down now in future. There mat be the fluctuation in the market value but it will be less. Bitcoins and other currencies are having some relation in them if bitcoin's value will decrease then other altcoins value will get higher. This will not be having any bad affect on the interest of investors to invest in crypto currencies.

First thing, bitcoin can't die overnight.

Second, people are getting crazy about all cryptocoins not only bitcoin so this trend might remain same if there will be no more bitcoin.

People are investing in bitcoin because it has limited supply and no any government can shutdown bitcoin network. People find it much safer to store their wealth in bitcoin than in their local banks.
Yes it can happen here. For example i am a investor here and i want to invest.my.money in a particular signature campaign and that campaign has a good platform that gets my interests but the campaign scammed me. And take my money. That will actually a disappointment for me and it can be the reason why some people loses interests here.

If bitcoin dies by some random miracle, the spot bitcoin had will be available for other promising cryptos. If something dies, something else is born, same product in different wrapping.

I don't think that people will loose interest in BitCoin. It's still rising so you can make profit of it. The only way to loose interest is the sitution when the other crypto-currency will become stronger than BitCoin. But I don't think it will happen in the near future.

I think that very well developed crypto coins that are already approaching the power of Bitcoin would survive. Currently, they become independent thanks to great development, and in the future they will be able to replace the place of Bitcoin itself, for example Ethereum.

What are the coins you are talking about, there is no coin in the entire crypto currency market that have the ability to surpass bitcoin in terms of popularity and price, the only way people would lose interest is because of the delay in transaction as well as the ever increasing transaction charges and people might stop because of these factors.

Now there are projects much better bitcoin, I think that bitcoin is now interesting only to millionaires. For ordinary people not hot it is not needed. Meaning to invest in it, if it is better to invest in altcoins? Bitcoin x3 = 50000$, altcoins 0.02 $ fore example to 100-200$ = x 1000.
forex give 40-60% year. forex now = bitcoin, this is very bad invested money idea. Now bitcoin in flat.
Now need invested to vanil option to bitcoin.

Yes i agree on that i believe that people didnt loose interest in bitcoin because it is now getting more interesting because many people really believe and gain tbrough it that is why they really apreciate bitcoin and they really want to get it because of the huge profit that is really  there in bitcoin.I believe no one could loose there interest if we put basis on the advantages that bitcoin has and it is really amazing.

Bitcoin is the most popular crypto-currency and probably most of the people will lose interest if bitcoin is gone. Because bitcoin can now be watched and be heard through social media and even on the news. So it's more popular than any other crypto-currency.so it's safe to assume that people will lose its trust to other digital currency if bitcoin will disappear.

No, of course. Even bitcoin will die, People are more aggressive to seek other alternative coins to invest. basically if people have more interest in investment the more demand and the bitcoin will never die.

Nope, i most certainly do not think so. Crypto currencies are just like those addictive drugs that drug addicts abuse. It is something that when you get a hold of or a taste of, you cannot let go. Amd i doubt that if ever bitcoin falls you will stop doing cryptos. That i am sure of.

But anyways, i would be going for eth all the way. Since i can see a lot of profitability in it. But for security, im going for monero. Those are my top choices.
