bitcoin is the leader , and if bitcoin dead or something maybe some percent of people will lose interest in cryptocurrency , and ofc yeah another will change direction to ETH or LTC and ETH is the most candidate will change the bitcoin i guess Grin

Ethereum or Litecoin would probably take the place of bitcoin. If bitcoin were to die tomorrow, it would probably drag down the altcoins with it as well, but if you give altcoins some time until they can establish themselves, they wouldn't be harmed in my opinion. An altcoin may eventually take the place of btc as the best crypto as well, especially considering the scalability issues that btc might face in the near future.

the right choice to change bitcoin be ethereum. cause many people can using ethereum. ethereum be a second choice to your altcoins. but i think if bitcoin lose, maybe its over. cause bitcoin is leader for cryptocurrency, but i dont know its just my opinion..

Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

People will not let this thing happen simply because they believe on the technology of cryptocurrency and bitcoin leads them. The price of bitcoin may dump but it will never die because billionaires will not let this thing, for sure lots of people will suffer.

I think if Bitcoin dies, the entire cryptocurrency world will be severely affected. There will definitely be a backlash of support of cryptocurrency but it will fall short of causing the untimely death of the whole of crypto environment. There are still a lot of cryptocurrencies out there that also thrived in similar ways as Bitcoin did, which was entirely different and running apart from the blockchain of Bitcoin.

I don't think people will lose their interest in cryptos if bitcoin died, many potential altcoins there like ethereum and litecoin, if bitcoin died or 0 value I'm sure they jump to other altcoins these will starting to pumping the price of the potential altcoins.

I think people will not loose their interest but they will surely loose big amount of investment in the first step. The second step would distress signal where no one will ever trust the crypto currency. But it unimaginable how much money will be lost in the process when bitcoin will go down. This is aint good for crypto currencies because bitcoin literally forms the basis of all currencies. Other currency will get worst trust score after knowing that bitcoin fell down and thats why people will start selling of every dam alt to save whatever they are left with for fiat currency.

It will depend on the person since a person might lost his patience resulting into lost of interest in bitcoin mining. After all, you need to have a lot of patience to do in order to get bitcoin and exchange it for a money. Having to deal a lot of waiting is difficult for every individual.

I think to lose interest is only a small possibility. because bitcoin will be a future hope for some people who participate in it. But if the bitcoin state remains high, then the possibility of loss of interest will be greater, as they find it difficult to participate in bitcoin.

Can we remove the word "died" in my opinion it is not proper to state that.

"If bitcoin price drop, do you think people will lose interest, in other crypto as well?"

1. bitcoin will never die, it was been test before as there are a lot of coins right know
2. bitcoin will drop the price to undesirable value but it doesnt mean that people will lose interest about it
3. other crypto will pump up but will not replace bitcoin as Altcoin depends it price to bitcoin.
4. in opinion "IF" people will lose interest to bitcoin ethereum will take the lead.

In my opinion cryptos are here for good. Even if bitcoin somehow dies, there are plenty of other good coins on the market already.

As we can observe these days bitcoin has added on its number of users and ofcourse the demand is increasing. If losing value there is still the possibility to lose interest. And I think some users will switch to other altcoins that is active and can earn profit.

I dont think people will loose interest in cryptos because this is more profitable to invest in any other stocks.Bitcoin price value continue to increase it is impossible that people will loose to interest in investing in bitcoin. And its depends to people ,maybe loosing his or her money would be the possible happens.

That is hard for a "what if" because there is no dying when it comes to bitcoin, just losing support maybe.

Well if I have to answer that then I will pick litecoin and Ethereum. This coins have been in the crypto world for a long time so trust have been created already. That is just a bonus though.

The mass mysteria right now surrounding bitcoin has little to do with the revolution that blockchain technology will bring. Even if the investors of today did lose interest in BTC, the decentralization and trustless environment that blockchain offers will eventually be the way of the future, one way or another.

I think it's depends on the reason why Bitcoin can die, if it's the issue that coming from the Bitcoin then people will still interested in crypto currencies, but if really Bitcoin die then it will decrease the investors trust, but if crypto is still profitable then people will still interested to invest

I think other people will not lose interest in another coin if bitcoin disappears, because we all know that cryptocurrency makes it easy for us to transact and invest. I have an interest in ether and litecoin because it is more expensive than bitcoin, so besides investing in bitcoin I also invest in other coins.
