I downloaded Casinocoin client and run it but it doesn't seem to connect? (Network icon has an x and keeps blinking)
Is this normal? It's definitely not blocked by any firewall SW etc and other clients such as Litecoin works fine.

EDIT: It's downloading now. I guess I just had to wait a bit!

I'm not saying anything happened but the potential could drive the price up.

People seem to have some issues with the pools, so I decided to rent some hardware and setup a pool:

http://csc.hash.so/

Getwork : http://csc.hash.so:3333
Stratum : stratum+tcp://csc.hash.so:3333

* PPLNS
* vardiff
* 1% pool fee
* Running on dedicated (and SMS monitored) server.. more resources available if this is not enough (unlikely)

Sick of bad or laggy CASINOCOIN pools?  Want a dedicated solution with quick payments, and an administrator who knows what he's doing?

CSC.DEDICATEDPOOL.COM

Running Mpos/stratum, on a dedicated server with gobs of cpu, memory, and network resources.  Lag no more my friends... come and mine and be rich.

other pools include:

glc.dedicatedpool.com - global coin
gdc.dedicatedpool.com - grand coin

https://www.megamineros.com/CSC is finally online again.

I do regret to say that we had a complete server crash because of the enormous loads. Things got out of hand so rapidly that i lost the entire server setup including the wallet on the server. I tried to recover the files together with Amazon Cloud Support but it was too corrupted to be recovered. As the pool was only running for a few days i did not yet have backup procedures in place.

I now that there were around 3500 coins in the wallet at the time of the crash but i can not recover the information to whom those belonged as the database got also corrupted. I do know that around 1250 of those where mine so i kind of lost a lot as well. I sincerely apologize for this. Most users had their payouts on automatic at 250 which is the default and thus you can never lose more than that.

For now the server is online again and i increased the resources and set it up now in a way where i can more easily increase the available resources with very little downtime if necessary.

Some user accounts that where created or altered after about 12-12-2013 midnight might have been lost. In that case you need to recreate your account.

If you continue to mine with https://www.megamineros.com/CSC you are more than welcome!! If you decide to not return i can understand that but hope you accept my apologies.

Happy mining to everybody !!

Happy mining! And obviously feedback welcome for the pool. Happy to change things if needed!

Dropped pool fee to 0.5%, apparently I'm also collecting transaction fees, which is not intentional. I'll fix it later and then raise the fee back to 1%.

It also looks like the USD amount is still calculated with the price of litecoin. But hey, hopefully 1 day Casinocoin is worth that much! lol
