I've been mining CasinoCoin for only a short time (CPU Only because it amuses me) and my records show that I've got over 10,000 shares via dutchpool.org but nothing has appeared in my wallet for 3 days.

Does that sound normal for CasinoCoin?

I'm a bit new to crypto currencies.

They are a p2pool node. p2pool uses it's own share chain so you cant compare the shares in your miner to the pool. Also, it appears as if their CSC p2pool node is operating on it's own! In other words it is not connecting to other p2pool nodes for combined hashing. I would ask them to fix this or look for another CSC p2pool node that is connected to the other p2pool nodes. Until they connect to the rest of the CSC p2pool network you are essentially solo mining. At your hashrate you can expect to find a block in 21d 21h 51m 42 s according to their frontend.

One tip...since you are CPU mining I would suggest append "/0" after your username/address if you choose a p2pool node that has faster miners. It will give you the lowest possible share difficulty. You can find more info at this FAQ: http://xpool.net/faq.html

Thanks very much for your reply. I will look at other pools to see if I can improve things.  I've been mining CasinoCoin for just over a week and I've only got 2.6 coins so I'm not going to retire this week.

Being new to this sort of thing I'm still a bit in the dark about how to diagnose issues like this.

Thanks again, your information is very much appreciated.

I'm running v1.1.0.0-g-beta of the wallet, and all day it hasn't been able to sync with the network yet it has active connections. Was working yesterday.  My address is: CHYPrLFKjavXXvBRCZrzvb2qZZHmPA7JAT

This whole cryptocoin thing freaks my little brain out. Despite being a programmer for 30 years I've always viewed software and anything related to it as imaginary. None of it actually exists, it's not tangible at all. You can't touch it, smell it, or anything yet it drives the world. So, the entire cryptocoin thing having any value in the real world is just freaky. Smiley

Does anyone have ideas on how to attract new players to cccitypoker, We are offering 0% rake currently, and a free tournament everyday to get some free chips/CSC
Free bonuses currently etc, but still are not able to get a customer base. A user sent me a great pm with some changes that should be made in the near future, but without players nothing can be done!

if we could get a follow on twitter as well

most online casinos have an affiliate program that grants the referrer residual commission on winnings for the life of the player. these can very easily be advertised on ynotmasters if you wish to attract developers  trying to monetize pornsites. in addition to this, id also consider adding one or two no commission games such as 50/50 dice with a scriptable api and small maximum bet. something like this at least gets people to use the coin for gambling.

also, have you considered accepting BTC and having the site convert it into CSC upon deposit. I dont see the harm as long as CSC is the base unit of chips.

Moving to Puerto Rico...

We have exactly that for our referral program! https://cccitypoker.com/affiliates
Have never heard of ynotmaster what is it?
I agree as well for some simplier no house edge games, but we do have roulette currently.

I'm in talks with my developer to see how we could go about doing the btc - csc deposit method.
Will update more when I know

ynotmasters is a site that indexes webmaster services for adult websites. If you have an affiliates program, list it there and porn sites will start running your banners for gambling.

Ok sweet, will add the site there after I finish up the affiliates page and add banners with embed code etc!

If anyone has a vast supply of CSC, LTC,  or BTC Please pm me for some profit sharing opportunities.
We will be implementing a method to allow for Bitcoin, and Litecoin deposit to cccitypoker and each currency will be transferred into chips (CSC) All withdraws will be in CSC ONLY

Hey fellow Casinocoiners, while I have been mining this for a while I would also like to promote CSC as a medium of payment. I am currently going out of my way to promote cryptos that hold a place in my heart as a payment method for a coin that I have recently had minted.

Hopefully those in this community will find value and (hopefully) humour in my offering.

Please take a look and let me know what you think of the "Goxxed for the Last Time!" commiserative coin!

diff is swinging up & down...
1)This is due to the KGW bug, that we would have to implement and launch an updated wallet.
2)We fork, and allow for many updates.
3)We wait some more for transcoder to come back..

Contacted scryptguild, one of the large multipool hops that has been effecting us.
