I'm afraid it can be missed. It might need some more marketing. I'm not seeing any buzz about the project, where it deserves a lot.

In a good project, there should not necessarily be much buzz, take a look at Oyster, when the project appeared about him, almost no one heard anything, but he made the millionaires the few who believed in him..

But you can also argue the other way. There are a lots of good projects who failed because of an non existing marketing. But i think they have a plan!

I doubt it, as the roadmap defines, Q218 for the closed beta.

Yes there is a lot of different services who can benefit from REPU. It will perfectly work with all things with a social network part for exemple, where reputation of users is important. And there is a lot of others possibility for reputation management.

For job interviews, will save time choosing employees, to give scores to employees in different scenarios, for games, for insurance companies, etc etc, the uses are almost in all of the industries, that is why this project could go up a lot when is online.

All correct, however in the field of job / business the sector is already, so far, a monopoly of LinkedIn: will be difficult to provide a solution that can "contrast" it.

Do not underestimate the weight of Facebook that directly or indirectly provides a sort of "feedback" even if not 100% reliable

Summarizing, good idea but the sector is a tank full of sharks ...

There are different tricks in different industries and as for LinkedIn, I'd say it's more for finance/economics/marketing/PR and similar industries and it's far from being perfect.

Agree with you but Linkedin has a large share of the market, a similar market, and this must be kept in mind in order to make investments...

Well, there is a whitepaper, a detailed roadmap, so at least the plan is made. A lot of projects don't have anything but an idea in the beginning.
And a beta testing is really not that far.

Few pages ago they explained how the checks for fraudulent rating would work. However there wa no mention of AI, at least not yet.

Well, at start they won't need a one probably but in time if it gets massive, they can't reach everything manually.

That would be perfect but usually in this kind of platforms bugs come up when users start using it.

there will also have to be testing of the platform. first it has to into open beta to iron out the kinks, before launching the service.

So they do not have anything even for testing. At least a demo version presented. So far there are only plans for the future.

By the way, as I understood, the credibility of the participants will be completely different. For example, the employer's assessment will have more weight for the employee than the client's assessment. And if the employee quit? How quickly will the reputation system react to this? All this is far from easy, and has a lot of difficult to solve trifles.

The employer may assess the employee from one standpoint, whereas, the customer – from another one. So, these two factors are very beneficial for everyone and have no conflict. If the employee quits, and there is a reason for this (either positive or negative), the system will react instantly, in order to avoid any further misrepresentation for the company, employee and a customer.

Eventually Platform release is not gonna happen for q3/4, not because they can't deliver but because beta testing usually lasts for more then 5-6 months. It's a better safe the sorry situation, I bet that we'll see platform release on q1/2 2019

You are right, the same goes for TripAdvisor! The only thing that makes tripadvisor reliable is the number of users, the more people and more reviews are made the more the information is reliable. The same would be for Repu!
