First of all you have to know first how to invest in virtual money because there is no form but only nominal numbers only. Can be a profitable investment product or vice versa,This currency has no guarantee because it is not issued by the central bank.

This is no guarantee if you will loss money or profit. This kind of investment always involve loss of money opportunity.
Be ready please. If you are ready i will suggest you to invest in etherium for long term.

Invest in Omisego (OMG). It is going to be big this year. Go to youtube and read what investors are saying about it.

Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?
If you really want the safest coin, then its better if you choose bitcoin over any other coin in cryptocurrency. It is the most trusted coin and the most expensive coin. It also not much risky if you go in bitcoin, because it was the fast growing investment so far. Just keep your faith in bitcoin and it will give you a success.

First chioce is NEO and then you can add ETH for second choice. Also don't forget to add waves and ADA to your portfolio.
These are the biggest potentials for 2018 and they will make you rich in a year.

If the long run then it is the most appropriate choice is ethereum, but of course when the long term you have to dare to be patient and not panic when the coins you have goes down unexpectedly.

It depends what your end goal is... some people want quick wins.. others want long term.

Long term id say eth or ltc - But id recommend Ripple as if it goes into coinbase then the price should shoot up. Which means you could make some quick money then sell/re-invest after people dump.

There is no business or physical investment free of risk,The risk factor is involved every where but we minimize the risk as well.It is also said more risk more profit so take action invest in like popular profit oriented coins Bitcoin,Etherum,Monero, waves for long term once it reach maturity you will earn more than expectations.

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?

If you do not know where to invest your money, then that is the sign that you shouldn't invest yet in crypto currencies and instead, invest time on studying more about the crypto world to understand more how it works.

The risks are always there. How you weigh those risks and pros are your choice.

Everyone came from being a noob. But if you rely on other people's help, then you will stay where you are and be dependent.

Litecoin is good.

Don't spend all your money at once. Try a sample to find out what kind of a trader you are (long-term / short-term). You will give yourself a chance to find out if you are more of an 'emotional' trader or more like an analyst or researcher. It will save you some money to find this out first.

$12,000 is a lot of money, there should be more money to make in Litecoin than Ethereum because Litecoin is known to go up when Bitcoin does.

First of all you have to know that every investment come with a risk, so there is not sure thing. With that in mind I would recommend to split your money and invest in couple different coins. I would recommend Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Cardano. I have invested in all of them and the results are very good for now.

Crypto industry is already a continuous risk, and the money you invest in ANY coin can never return to you!
