wafflepool and middlecoin are on par in the last 24hr...

+1, just as clevermining by the way. I've switched from middlecoin to wafflepool a week ago and payouts are merely the same. You don't need to switch if you want to get payed better, the only reason could be better support (wafflepool), better website (clevermining) or don't switch at all. I was just tired of no communication and all the issues.

I can understand this; but what really is there to communicate beyond what has been communicated already via the Twitter posts and IRC?

It's obvious that all of the "lost shares" and percentages of those lost shares don't have a significant impact and the other pools aren't better where it counts.

On top of that you get higher than average payouts on Middlecoin than you get on these other pools.

So long story short; with all of the hoopla and hype people have been talking about these other pools they boil down to no big reason to switch.

Where it counts is putting money in my bank account.  The past week or so middlecoin hasn't been doing that, it is dropping my hashrate and accepting my work but I am not getting paid for that work.  In my opinion it is pretty foolish to work for someone for free under the premise it may pay out for you in the end.

I would rather put my work into a pool that is paying me for my work.

The twitter thing is a laughable support tool.  Real issues are brought up in this thread and no reply's are ever made to them, not even on this magical twitter feed.  One day it just may be fixed and start working right or it won't but you don't really know and just have to hope that it does. Why support a pool that makes attempts at fixing errors you bring up, I can go to the clevermining thread and get a nice courteous reply to an issue.  Hell on reddit he replied to one of my threads about a problem a few days after to let me know that he had finally fixed the issue.  this was after he at least replied and let me know he would look into it.

You don't see that here.  Other than twitter (which I don't use) or the contact link which half assed takes you here, he has no other means of contact on his page.

You may or may not be on the other end of the spectrum some day, but if you are like myself and others and have to just play the waiting game you could understand our complete frustration with how this whole operation works.  If he can't fix it, great let me know so I can switch to a different pool till you get your shit sorted out.  Not waste my time being unprofitable.

To me those are pretty good reasons to switch.

This is likely due to that thing from a few days ago where all the reported hashrates were down because it was mining a coin that hadn't been set up for representation in the stats.

i have noticed the regular middlecoin.com server is producing very low rejects , i had load balancing on both useast.middlecoin.com and regular middlecoin.com and the difference was night and day so for now i switched to it entirely with useast as failover just to test further.

There isn't a "regular" middlecoin.com server, it's just a way to redirect to one of the "real" servers:

uswest = 54.214.242.184
useast = 54.197.251.210
eu = 54.194.173.83
amsterdam = 37.58.69.218
asia = 54.254.224.191

I'm in Europe, and for me middlecon.com point to the amsterdam one. For you it will be a different one. If you ping middlecoin.com you'll see which one.

If it crashed all the time ... it's a piece of shit.

But it doesn't.

Personally I'd rather keep my 7950 making 690KH/s and have cgwatcger restart or reboot 1-2 times a day than take the hit of running it significantly slower but more "stable" as to not need cgwatcher.

Neither of you two paid close enough attention.

If your bottom line is money in your bank account, then go to other pools and see how they compare.  Then come back and apologize after you see middlecoin is consistently the highest.  I've tried pretty much every other auto trading pool there is, because yes middle coin does leave something to be desired in transparency, but in the end the payout is what counts and I always get more here.

its possible its redirecting me to a closer server, i pinged them all and useast has the lowest ping but seems like if i let middlecoin.com redirect me i get lower rejects.

Pretty much.

Even with the high rejects, I haven't found another that would pay as much. The others are still paying out 10-15% less (that's considering a 0% reject rate vs 5-10% for Middlecoin). Can't wait for the rejects to go back down.

Earlier this week, I had 5% rejects pointing to uswest. Today I have less than 2%.

Oh wow, I've realized why. People switch to maxcoin which is 3x more profitable than anything (and difficulty of scrypt coins drops). But that doesn't work wih multipools, requires custom miner (keccak, not scrypt).

Whoever wants to try your luck - pool and cgminer are here http://max.1gh.com/, exchange is https://mcxnow.com. Hard to get cgminer working though, and it will crash often, so need to run in an infinite loop. It worths that though

This is quite frankly why I decided to use a multipool in the first place.

Too many dam coins to keep track of.

I don't know; that's just weird.

Check your settings on your miners; you may need to restart them.

Your problem is that at some point you made a typo as in the list of all miners I found these:
1DC9pcMYzoKhVjrZ7VWtWfLjAQVYuokmyu
1DC9pcMyzoKhVjrZ7VWtWfLjAQVYuokmyu

Contact h2o through a PM or on twitter to fix it.

If you're getting high rejects, just set a fixed server that works well for you. I use US East and I'm at 99.4% accepted atm.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... what the fuck do you think you are doing?

This involves people to actually think for themselves and try and adjust their settings to the best solutions.

Clearly that is not a strength of the average middlecoin user...

Grin

Here we go----- I wonder if the average user hasnt already tried that.... hmm thats a mystery on its own ay,... anyway Keep that bottle in one hand and the mouse in the other  better for your tummy Wink
