Although, I agree.  It would be nice if he would appoint an official spokesperson for this thread and provide updates on a weekly basis.  Some of us don't do that Twitter stuff.  lol

I have suggested this in the past; just pay someone a certain amount of BTC and have that person update the forum. Easier for everyone.

The underlying theme from folks is that they don't know what exactly is going on. H20 can just have a liaison and then the pool can ask questions to the liaison as much as they like.

Why do people censor things that are public information?  I just don't understand.  The same thing happened in the AM Cube thread where I was trying to help people and they would censor their computer's IP address on their local network as if me knowing that 192.168.1.1 as their IP was going to make them susceptible to an attack.

Dunno, that just always kinda makes me chuckle.

Yeah, just the little things are kind of annoying.

Like why hasn't he just updated the OP to include the stats pages, or at least update the middlecoin homepage to include that?

I lost my bookmark and had to go searching for it.

Oh wells, no worries.  I know he is busy as hell with this thing, but his hard work is definitely paying off... this website has made him quite a nice sum of coin.  I'd be a liason for 0.1% of that pool fee Cheesy

On a serious note is it the thread concurrency I should be looking at or Intensity, PUt it this way 290 - should be fine from I17-I20

So I dont think its this.

Thread concurrency maybe

And that about the G command I cant seem to have G 2,2,1

Doesnt work so how do I have my 290 a 1 and rest a 2?

You can't set several values for --gpu-threads in cgminer for different cards. You'll have to use sgminer 4.0.0 or 4.1.0.

For the R9 290 should the worksize be at 512?

well it is a 512 bit card, and I have seen many ppl do it.. Ok well I just changed it to 256 and  I Back to 20

Lets seee

Does anyone know how to change the - G 2..... for multiple cards in the batch file
?

Just saying....though I agree it's comedy gold sometimes.

Good that it's funny to you, some of us are seeing a variation in payment value of a few hundred dollars a day. It adds up.

Yes.  SGMiner is just a better version of CGMiner since CGMiner stopped supporting Scrypt mining after version 3.7.2

CGWatcher 1.3.5.2 (i believe) added support for SGMiner.

You can only do that with the miners posted above your post or with kalroth's version of cgminer. I do not have the link to that but if you do a search you can find it. If not I can send you a copy. To be honest I would use sgminer anyway as it gave me a boost in mhz on some cards while also having better stability especially with R9 cards.

It's fucking hilarious to me.

If you are mining and don't expect to see a fluctuation in your daily payout then you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how this whole mining thing works.

Since there's the twitter feed on the Middlecoin.com homepage (no need for twitter at all) AND a whole forum dedicated to Middlecoin that's sorta blessed by H2O (he linked to it from a twitter post) http://middlecoinforum.com/ , and available pretty much all the time via IRC ...

... Plus the fact that h2o was basically harassed by verified scammers here on BitcoinTalk who outed his name and posted photos of him and were going to post his home address... I don't blame him for avoiding this forum.

Lack of communication my ass.

It's like someone putting out an always updated billboard on a busy freeway and being accused of lack of communication because he won't talk to you at 3am in the neighborhood where he was mugged. Jeez.

If you don't like it in Middlecoin, there are other options. If you do stay.  Either way, have some perspective and relax.

Others seemed to be faster at answering than me. Smiley
sgminer is a fork of cgminer 3.7.2 so almost all of the commands are the same. There are some small changes that you can read about in the NEWS link in the threads I linked.

Yes CGwatcher and CGremote both work fine with sgminer. I use them both.
