Hello. I started using this today with GUIminer.
Why is the khash/s so much lower than in normal pools? it's 181, when I normally have 400+.

I've got a question for H20...Do you have a preference or does it affect the pool in anyway as to what server we mine on? Would there be any pros/cons for me to load balance my rigs across the US and EU servers?
Chad
The US pool is more profitable, but has frequent disconnects. So if you have a large ping to the US server, or cgminer is unstable because of the disconnects, use the EU server. Otherwise stick with the US server. The EU server is constantly on DOGE for the time being. The disconnects will be fixed within a few days. They occur on coin switches, and I'll be rolling out some new code to do it cleaner. How much more profitable? Maybe it's worth mining there even if I get more invalid shares.

You guys are making this harder than it needs to be. If you are getting frequent disconnects from the US server, swith to the EU server and be done with it until H2O gets the other server straightened out. Connecting to a server that mines the hours most profitable coin matters little if all you are getting are disconnects and rejects.

Why do some people have a lot of unexchanged coins, and why do some people have not? I did have a lot of them, but they are exchanged.

My guess is that it depends on which coin he/she has been mining. As noted by h20, the EU server is mining doge only and I'm guessing there's autotrading setup for that coin. For users on the US server though, more "exotic" coins are being mined and in those cases, the trading is done manually and less frequently.

I love this pool, and this is not a criticism, but a question...
Is it really worth bouncing around, changing which coin we're mining so regularly? Last hour or so it seems to have changed every couple of minutes or so on average. I'm assuming everyone else's cgminer is similar to mine, in that it takes 20-30 seconds to regain its full hashrate after a stratum disconnection.... This seems like an unneccessary waste.
And yes, I know I can use the EU pool if I don't want the coin changing, and yes I know a fix is coming apparently.
Is there any "minimum time" set for mining each coin H20 ?
Thanks.

For now i have configured 2 servers, one on eu and the other one at vs. Powered them together, so I should get a nice overview for the best choice :-).

Doge? I was already mining doge. There are 18 more profitable coins in coinwarz by now! I'm from EU, mining with US server until EU server starts switching.

Profit switching, or multipools are often wrong. Better to just mine what YOU think will be profitable. The human brain > multipools. However multipools are good for people who just want to leave their miners and go out and have a life. But for the rest of us, we are getting rich by actively researching and finding out what coin will do better in the future, something a multipool does not do. Ryan, dedicatedpool.com support/admin admin@dedicatedpool.com / IRC on freenode #dedicatedpool Says the dedicatedpool shill...

By the time he gets around to it, the coin might be worthless- If he is auto-trading on the EU server, I'm not sure why the same isn't done for the US. We all have a lot of unexchanged that are just sitting.

Middlecoin is for people who want to make BTC today, and not hope to make lots of bitcoin a year from now. There are miners and then there are speculators. They are two different things.

Haha! Ok.... I guess the 1 USD you lose every day for using an automated multi-pool, which allows you to go out and have a life, is a pretty low cost of living. Enjoy you tech-cave Ryan, cya around!

Could H20 remove all the addresses without any hashing power? Or at least remove the ones that haven't mined on middlecoin for a certain amount of time... It takes forever to load the main page and that's because there are so many addresses to load. More than half of the addresses on the page do not have any hashing power.

I have been mining with just short of 1.8 MH/s for a couple of weeks now, but I haven't gotten anything since the 28th of December. Which is odd, because I have been getting 0.02-0.03 every day. On the middlecoin.com website, it says my address has 0 mh/s, but CGminer reports accepted shares every few seconds.
What is happening?

Immature & Unexchanged mountain is pushing the upper bound of my graph higher. If it goes much further, I'll barely be able to see the actual balance line.

There must be a reason why his holding on to the coins, for example would you rather dump the coins for 0.000081 or 0.000089.. offcourse the later and this may be the difference of $10-$40 when all you had to do was wait . No work from your end other than wait. Not bad I think, anyway I am just trying to see the positive side to it.
