As stated above. If you don't like the methods involved here then the door is right here:  'X'

You can always do it yourself then there will be no one to blame.

And what if I do like all the methods involved here except this single issue with the delayed trades? Should I stay or should I go? Please advise.
If you go there will be double.

God damn, so many newbies bitching on here since I last checked. Seems the bigger the pool gets, the more bitchy the miners get. It works, and you get pretty consistent payouts. Who cares if your unexchanged balance is 99999 throughout the day, if you get a good payout at the end of the day it doesn't matter.

Just thought I'd balance things out a bit.
I'm a noob here, I've been mining with Middlecoin for a total of 17 days and so far I've been incredibly impressed!
I really don't understand how people can even think about moaning... You point your rig and money comes in every day and from what I've seen H2O seems to know exactly what he's doing and I trust him with my hashing power and I trust him to do whatever he feels is best with the coins. There have been times when I've looked at the graphs and been a bit concerned but every time POW! big payout.
All this and not to mention the customer service, I had an issue where my old man messed up his wallet address and H2O sorted it promptly. In my opinion he's 3% is well deserved and I couldn't be more thankful.  Grin

TL;DR: I'm a noob, I love middlecoin, don't let the haters get you down.

There are currently some network issues with coin switching. It occasionally doesn't switch, and hangs for 20 seconds or so. This seems to happen once in every 5 switches or so.

I'm working on a fix, but in the mean time if you want a workaround, and you can are ok with recompiling cgminer, you can:

in https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/util.c

change:

Code:
const int tcp_keepidle = 45;
const int tcp_keepintvl = 30;
to:

Code:
const int tcp_keepidle = 5;
const int tcp_keepintvl = 4;

These occur twice in the file.

Thanks to `Kevin on IRC for this.

Sorry if this has been asked but I've got far too much to do and have been reading for 2 hours now.

So, Can this be added to the config file?

No. Check the bold text Wink

There is a post a few pages back with the recompiled version.

TO be honest I have seen no stand out difference between Cg miner versions I was using 3.5.1 But now since you compiled the 3.7.2 I will be using this..

I saw a weird thing in CGminer where the shares say they have been accepted, I saw a line that said new block detected on network before long poll

Then Say stratum from pool 0 work restart
Then stratum connection to pool 0  interrupted.

This happened a few times in the last 5 minutes I started the new compile CGminer.... Is this a coencedence? Or whats happening here? I have not seen this Long poll message before Or maybe I was not looking hard enough

That being said So far I have 17000 Accepted Shares but 0 Rejected, Not sure if its too early but ye, what do you think guys with the above message that happenend a few minutes ago.. I mean I am looking at it now and its not happening now All I see is Accepted Accepted . New block detected. Maybe just a coin switch?

PS: Did you use Baksmali to decompile? What program did you use to decompile and then re-compile

EDIT: Just as I did my PS: I saw that same message again Stratum connection pool interrupted followed by New block detected on long poll Followed by  Stratum work restart requested... And then Accepted accepted accepted 1 2 3 4 435435 Etc Smiley

not sure i just edited the file to change the time and compiled it i dont see a huge diff myself a little better it seems for my getwork failures.  You dont decompile got the source code from the website and compiled it with mingw.  Im compiling 3.5.1 with the changes now to see if it makes any diff uploaded both the 3.7 and 3.5 one i dont see much change getwork failures are a little lower for my 5870 and 6950 it seems so i guess thats good.

Nothing has updated in about ~1.5 hours. Graph, balance, immature, unexchanged, or speed.

Think the actual lyrics are:

Could H20 remove all the addresses without any hashing power? Or at least remove the ones that haven't mined on middlecoin for a certain amount of time... It takes forever to load the main page and that's because there are so many addresses to load. More than half of the addresses on the page do not have any hashing power.

Takes less then 2 seconds for me, atm.

On the EU pool, most certainly.... getting much less than mining straight DOGE should deliver. Been slow all day (and my stats do update)

Around 40-50 percent down from yesterday. My graphs show little to no immature or unexchanged coins either.

Use this if you want been working on it for a little while and everything seems to be ok minus updates are not updating for the past couple of hours as other have shown but you can go directly to your information by using the w={WalletID} in the url

is this pool having some trouble lately?  I was looking at it as an alternative to multipool.  Are users happy recently?
