Yes profits are down, but all altcoin profits are down. A good test is to go into the #hashcows irc room. They have a bot which let's you calculate a profit estimate using your hash (!calc x where x is you kh/s) for that day. This is currently showing 0.0063BTC/Mhs/24hrs which is significantly lower than the 0.00857BTC/Mhs/24hrs paid yesterday on middlecoin (Today's payout on 1400khash: 0.012 BTC) that people are complaining about here. So maybe litecoins are more profitable right now, then it's your choice to mine litecoins instead. I might switch my miner over for a day or two to diversify anyway and then see if the profit returns to altcoins and coin switching.

Alt coins have been flat or down in price, so getting nearly the same amount of BTC or slightly less makes sense.

As he said this is his FULL-TIME JOB (that means 40 hours/week as he's in USA)
Clearly he's a LIAR otherwise he would post more than 1 sentence per day and he would explain the accusations against him for theft!
This pool is the most obvious scam I've ever seen.
I will GLADLY take bets with anyone whether this pool ends up a scam or not. You sound butt hurt ..... the more you cry the more I will mine to keep the tears flowing. Cry me a river. LOL - is Coffeehater still around?

Well the changes seem to be making the server more stable but I have one question should we we changing coins this much?
We start at diff 40 00:24:33 PST Block was Found 00:24:33 PST Diff 40 00:24:37 PST Block was found 00:24:37 PST Diff changes to 3.37K 00:25:13 PST (Total time between diffs = 40 seconds) Block was found 00:25:13 PST Diff changes to 214 00:25:25 PST (Total time between diffs = 12 seconds)
That just seems like it is a bit much for changing when there is a total of 52 seconds between 3 coin changes (this is just a small example of what I have been seeing over the course of the last few hours)
I am running on middlecoin.com:3333 with a ping time of around 28ms to the server
Don't get me wrong I can't argue with the stability I am just curious as why we would switch coins that fast, I would think there would be around a 5 - 10 minute hold on a particular coin before switching.
Our last diff was 214 which started at 00:33:39 PST and ended on 00:43:37 PST at which time it switched to diff 193, total time between coin changes 9 minutes and 58 seconds - This seems more like the range it should be, just not sure why other times it changes so fast (might be a bug in the switching algorithm or the calculation algorithm for figuring out which is the most profitable coin)
just an observation that I am seeing with the new changes and wanted to point it out.

Not sure what steroids the singapore server is on but my stats are awesome after changing to it Same hash rate of about 876kh/s but my WU is way up....827...its usually around 760. As a consequence the red line on the coingeek graph has started to go up at a sharper angle. Should be a good payout tomorrow if this keeps up

Anyone else here using Multiminer/bfgminer? I prefer using Multiminer for my machine as I have two different GPUs and can monitor them from my mobile but it gives me consistently lower hash rate than cgminer. After the server fix cgminer seems to be rock solid but in bfgminer the hash rate seems to drop on every coin change and after a while it stops recovering and settles down at around 10% less from normal values. Is there any particular setting I could try out to get it more stable or is this simply a problem with the miner?

Today's payout on 1400khash: 0.012 BTC LTC comparative pay on 1400khash: 0.462 LTC * 0.0298 BTC/LTC = 0.0138 BTC
Looks like 13% for me. Also because of the fee (3%), it's more like 10% lower than Litecoin. Right?
Have you included the unexchanged and immature in "todays payout" from middlecoin? If not the comparison with straight litecoin is not fair. Also the 3% should be more like 4% as you need to add an exchange fee as well. No, they were visually similar on the chart at the payout time with the ones from the last payout. I was just pointing out that my numbers were slightly different than someone else's. Also it is possible that this pool or any other can have different LTC profitability for a single day due to variance, but also because of overhead allowing profit switching. If anyone is afraid to lose 10% of their hashrate against LTC, please mine elsewhere. You also lose the chance of a huge profit bump when an altcoin becomes popular like DOGE.

I use my pc to mine with a brand new 280x and the graphic card is 3/4 way of paying for itself. Already got 300mbtc from middlecoin and need another 100mbtc then it can retire from mining. I have sold 400mbtc in advance to cover for the graphic card. I have not calculated the cost of electricity but my old gpu that has been sold should cover that. So, thanks again h2o for my (almost) free gpu Still got one rig with 3 280x but this one is going to keep mining until there is nothing to mine (this one runs on free electricity ) and btc from this rig is not going to be converted to fiat anytime soon
