Mine as donation is actually turned off by default. And its not 0.5% its 0.5h/day Just about top guy.. Look at here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=185553.msg4554562#msg4554562"......which, by the way, is now running on 45000+ computers......" CGWatcher is a tool to keep cgminer run. It has [donation mining] option in the config. You can turn it completely off, but default value is 0.5%. Probably, you will never look there and amend it. So, it simply can be those "donation mining" hashes. It is only 25 Kh from each of 45000 PCs..

Maybe diff 1024 was too high for those mini usb ASIC? Those things look like they could fly away if they get too hot and the autofan spins way up. I'm sure they will be back soon as they get them bolted down.

Every time the database stalls we seem to have a crappy payout (even when it's supposedly caught up) which basically makes that day of mining worthless And yes if the payouts are going to be similar to what we had before on the lower difficulty, I think we should stay at the new difficulty to keep the Chinese farmer away. Long live GPU MINING

I pulled my rigs off and pointed them at DOGE. Just couldn't fix my 60% rejected hashing here At the new pool I'm seeing 2.5% rejected shares so I dunno why middlecoin suddenly didn't like my rigs.

Today: 1.30402452 BTC Yesterday: 2.37687830 BTC But, of course, I should not complain making more than 1 BTC less because h2o explained: Middlecoin @middlecoinpool Not a DOS. Just me messing things up. Pool might occasionally disconnect you for a bit.
Thanks h2o!!!

You have to count the unexchanged. It's around 0.5 for you. Why don't you solo mine with your own algo ? Seems like a good investment when you earn 2 BTC a day.

Thanks h2o!!! He's human, he makes mistakes, deal with it. The last couple of days have been exceptional anyway and following the alt coin values, it's impressive that we even had that kind of payouts. Last payout (at least for me) was actually in line with what I expect to get with my hashrate and current alt coin values, rest is just extra.

Thanks h2o!!! I don't rly mind as long as it doesn't happen too frequently. H2O is currently working (and some of it is already implemented) code to divide the total hashpower of the pool over several of the most profitable coins. So it's all in our interest that he is tweaking it (the occasional instability comes with it). He himself told me this a few days back. So am very optimistic about the future of middlecoin. But please leave, the fewer the better still imo :-)

A little something I made for TamperMonkey (Greasemonkey for Chrome)
Thank you very much! Would you be willing to put it up somewhere so we can use the automatic update url for the script, just in case you ever update it? I haven't figured out how to setup updates yet, but when I do, I'll have it up on userscripts. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/287700Great, thanks again!

Those of you who use CGwatcher to monitor your performance, which values do you typically have in "Efficiency" field? As I understand, it shows Getworks to Accepted shares ratio. I noticed that it used to hover between 90% and 100% on this miner (7970 at 760kh/s) before the boom of middlecoin, but nowadays it never goes above 40%. I also use "restart miner if # of accepted shares doesn't change for 3 minutes", but I guess with the latest upping to 1024 diff I have to be more conservative and set it to like 5 or 6 minutes. What do you guys think?

fuck what cgwatcher says imo. that number it spits out is useless. I only judge by my WU inside cgminer
