Hi H2o,

First I wanna thank you for the great work you have done in this mining community. And I am very happy with what I get.

I noticed we are hopping between DOGE and LOT these days(correct me if im wrong), and I've been watch these two's profit ratio very closely. And I noticed the hopping happens very frequently too, so I presume this is automatic. The fact is after a bit of calculation, I had the conclusion that frequent hopping is actually hurting the income, especially in this case, DOGE is rising to a new high, and I think we should stick to DOGE for now, at least mine 1-2 hours before hopping to another. This will save a lot time and effort, as LOT's generating speed is quite fast which is less than 30sec, most work is wasted as new blocks was found constantly fast. I have 280x, so I can hash fast, but those with low hash rigs may not be able to keep up with the pace. Furthermore LOT is actually much less profitable compare to DOGE at this moment.

Could you please look into this matter, maybe my theory is wrong here, and I am not complaining about the current result at all.
and it's just my humble suggestion, I am not in doubt of how you run it, it never crossed my mind, from the bottom of my heart, I think no one could've done it better than you. Smiley

Thank you!

For all of you who are looking for statistics and current status of your miners: if the official stats are stalled/broken you can always check the many third-parity web pages which are parsing JSON data and displaying many usefull graphs, see: http://middlecoin.kobal.org/index.php/Main_Page#Where_can_I_see_my_statistics.3F

If i see it right - pools is not hoping, but mining multiple coins at once and you get random WU each time from stratum.

I've now bought a VPS to have my middlecoin watcher on and moved it there so it's working again.
Later today I'll setup a database and start to store down all stats to create a new version which can show much more interesting stats Smiley

New adress is http://vps.webbson.net/middlecoin

Edit: Graphs are broken since I use coinGeeks graphs. But when I get my DB up I'll roll on my on graphs. But now back to work, gotta make some money to pay for the VPS  Grin

Hey guys, here is the new tool I've developped to check the stats of all of my mining addresses on middlecoin. Just enter your addresses (one line by address) and let's go.

http://stratehm.net

BTW: it would be nice if you would also add "Total:" for BTC and Hash graph/data; I know that a Total BTC (immature+unexchanged+balance) is only aproximate, but it would still be nice to see a value and line for that, too.

Will be added in the next release.

New version released:
-Display performance (highly) improved
-Add an auto-refresh (every 10 minutes)
-Bookmarking should be fixed
-Added a Total for BTC

Unfortunately, the database has been reset. So data are available only since now. (It will still grow to 7 days).

You are welcome to give me some feedback in PM.

Very nice! You want to remove the 2 local charts on the right bottom side from the global area.

These charts are "Total charts" useful when you monitor several addresses. I will remove them for single address monitoring.
Moreover, I have seen that these charts are partially buggy. The autorefresh does not work for them...

You sir are the man!!!
I use it everyday, I am monitoring two adds, 4 280x rig and my 4 7950rig. Thank you so much for everything!
just send you 0.2 ltc Smiley

Thanx for the ltc Grin

The new version will be ready soon (with the fix for total charts autorefresh)

Thanx Wink

Great looking useful app, Is there any specific reason it couldn't be made for iOS ? You could charge £5 a copy easy, Shame I don't have android.

Apple has a history of pulling Bitcoin related apps and blocking apps that use Bitcoin as a payment method. Probably more trouble than it's worth for independent devs.

Apple only takes down any app that directly buys/sells BTC/fiat. There are a ton of Bitcoin tracking, rig tracking, pool tracking, market tracking and even a few wallet apps out there. Blockchain.info are there and Coinbase was briefly, but they'll work that out soon.

Hell, there's even one scrypt mining app (no stratum support though) that they haven't touched.  I use it occasionally on my iPhone and iPad just to eek a little more (point it to a stratum proxy that's pointed to Middlecoin). Of course they both just hash away at less than 1kh per thread. Wink

But why should a dev, especially a small independent dev waste any time or resources to develop an app when there is even a remote chance of it being banned when there are other platforms that are more bitcoin friendly?

Because , Correct me if I'm wrong , But isn't it quite a straight forward thing to port an app from android to iOS ? Or am I going crazy ? I was under the impression tools are available to make it not that big a job ?

Well, the two ecosystems are very different. Java vs Objective C, virtual machine vs compiled, etc.
Porting may be easy if you use some kind of framework (like Qt for example) but it will make the app much bigger and huglier. If you wanna do a nice app with native android looks, it will be nice and good but, in order to port it to IOS, you must rewrite the most part.

Hi h2odysee, love your pool.

I'm currently have my miner pointed at middlecoin.com but I would like to participate in the Beta and see if connecting to the asia.middlecoin.com server is any faster. (I'm in Australia) My problem is I don't know how to add a "fall over" server?

This is my current .bad file, can you help me to correct it so it points the the beta asian server first and falls over to the normal one? thanks.

cgminer --scrypt -o http://middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1OfMyManyBTCAddresses -p x

Thanks in advance to anyone who finds the time to help out Smiley hope my question is helpful for someone else too

just repeat the -o, -u and -p options two times in the command line: the pools will get their priority based on the order.

problems with eu server?
It looks that way. My miner has been switching to useast all morning because eu (50ms latency) got sudenly unresponsive. I'm not to concerned since USEast gives me 150ms latency, but the time cgminer wastes testing the servers and switching between them is messing with my hashrate. What really worries me is that my reject rate went from 1% (avg) to 10% this morning :S

What just happened to my unexchanged??

Only started mining on the pool again yesterday (massive rejects seem to have solved themselves) and my unexchanged at the latest update went from 0.0484 to 0.0109 while my balance increased from 0.0202 to 0.0242. Seriously??? What on earth got exchanged that was worth 0.0375 a few hours ago and is worth 0.004 at exchange now?? I haven't seen any coin go down to a 10th of its value and most of the time yesterday it was mining DOGE anyway.

Should've just stayed at fast-pool I guess, my mistake.

When unexchanged coins are being exchanged, they aren't listed on either balance. It can sometimes take hours to trade coins, depending on the stability of the exchange central being used.
