Someone said this to him July 26th:
If the pool gets too big I would think the answer is to mine two or three best coins at once.
and H2O reply:
That's a good idea. We'd get less rejects on low hashrate coins. I'll keep it in mind as a possibility.
But he never did it in 6 months. Now he asks on Twitter for people to help with coding, but he claims this is his full-time job and has 2 employees already.
Such incompetence.
Hi,
To be fair, that would have only be interesting when the pool got too big (which is now). And he said he will
keep it in mind as a possibility, doesn't sound like a promise to me.
But he is actually implementing such an algorithm as we speak. Some of the code is already on the server (don't know if it's being used already though).
This is his private message to me in response of a question I asked him.
I am planning on making the pool split its hashrate among various currencies. I was just setting up some of that code today.
I'm not going to bother making the pool look professional, but I've got lots of plans to improve the profits, and reporting. I can't hire very many people because I don't have the servers set up in such a way as to allow people I don't trust have access.
Also, some of your accusations might hold some truth (I don't know, don't care rly), but for the majority of us, those apparently aren't enough to switch pools. There are as we speak no valid alternatives yet (I have tried) that come with such ease that you can just point your worker to your btc wallet and be sure the server can't get hacked like hashcows.
Worst case scenario (which I rly don't believe is true), if he is stealing, I still am making enough profits give the ease it comes with compared to other pools. I don't have sufficient reason to switch. And according to the total hashpower of the pool, many people feel the same.
Making suggestions is obviously allowed, but there is no point in repeating yourself over and over again (even if it were true). All you will accomplish is people getting annoyed with you and you actually getting lower trust ratings (or you get ignored).
If a person would keep repeating himself 20 times in here even when it was with positive advise, ppl would get annoyed too. You have tried to make your point, some ppl probably listened to you and left (minority) or started thinking about it. But apparently you won't accomplish more in the future or it would have already happened.
As long as people are satisfied with the result in their wallets, who gives a ****?
