I dont think we can be millionaire very quick by holding our asset but maybe need more time become succesfull in holding asset. I am sure that we can make it. Become millionaire by holding but not short time. |

Become millionaire by holding but not short time. There no such thing become quick rich in trading if you do not have big ammo from the start Holding is unlikely to make a profit. But if you choose the right potential crypto like Bitcoin to hold in the long run, you will probably make a profit from the Bitcoin exchange rate increase. In addition to investing and holding Bitcoin, you can invest more in Ethereum to make a big profit in 2018.

but in what way do you select prospective coins? I would like to know what criteria for the selection of projects for investment can exist. In my opinion, it is very difficult to analyze all the information and try to avoid failure or scammers. |

The Importent things is that you need to know (research), before you jump in to something, never ever fomo Bolded part: I do agree on this one because you wont really become a millionaire if you do just hold small amounts of coins or you did just invest small amount of coins holding for long term but well theres still chance on making some huge profits but don't really expect to become millionaire easily. Hodling can really make you rich but depending on which coins you would hold off. |

I think it's still valid for new ICO projects, but not for coins what are in the market from more than an year. I mean if you want to get 20-40x. Because now every successful ICO is hitting x5 very fast on exchanges.

As for me, it actually is. Most of the time I sell my assets too early and sometimes miss up to 5-10x profits. So I think HODL works best for me but at the same time it is pretty hard.

Ofcourse but don't hold those coin that already pump as of now. Make your search also on a coin if it's good or bad before buying any coin in the market. |

Ofcourse it is especially if you getting tokens from a tokensale the value of coins usually goes up as the actual product is put on the market and investors know what they paid for and holding makes more sense.

Yes of course it is still valid till forever if this cryptocurrency world still exist. Holding is much better and easier to all trader, new or old trader are still profitable. I think i will always as a holder rather than day trader because day trader needs high skill and more complicated for me. |

I just saw this on my twitter feed.. and I think this should be one of the best answer for this question: @robertreidmd: "Bitcoin has "crashed" 30% SIX TIMES in 2017. I'm not thinking of becoming a millionaire by holding but I know that I can make decent profit with it in due time. And we can't also remove the fact that there are early adopters who just held their bitcoin for years and sold it when it's on the peak. Also with altcoins, look on what Chris Larsen made him millionaire, he held his XRP and sold it while it's on ATH. I believe that holding can make you prosperous but it all depends to the coins that you are holding.

Do not belittle the capability of HODLING this is as always effective specially if you a long-term investors, you will gain a good profit from it you do it right. There are lots of good altcoins out there that will give you a good profit you will just have to find them and it's free.

Long term holding is profitable only if your sure that the token you are going to hold on will get higher in the long run but if not, I guess much better to apply short term holding for you to get profit in a short period of time. |
