The largest buy at IPO was 200k~ share. I would say the confidence of the shareholders are strong. There are only a few very loud speculators that are trying to make a quick buck. No whales are panic selling anytime soon.

Out of 30380 shares of ASICminer on Btct, 2633 are on the ask side, or 8.6%
Out of a possible 7,000,000 shares of labcoin, 857832  are on the ask side, or 12.24%

By your own metric, labcoin should have downward pressure. You have probably not thought through your own argument and just put it out there to prop up the stock. In any case, this particular metric is of no use.
