1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it

1ETH can do quite a number of things, ETH id a good coin that continues to grow as time goes by. I believe if you hold that 1ETH, it can gain considerable value over a period of time.You  can also use the coin to buy other cheaply available alts in the market with high growth potential Like NEO which has a high growth potential.

In my opinion you should Keep half of your money as BTC or Eth. Use other half to invest on potential altcoins or for ICO s.
However investing on altcoins is very risky than holding Eth or BTC.
Because new altcoins are very versatile unlike BTC or ETH wich definetly have future.

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Keeping Ethereum is always an income. Ethereum has never allowed its investors to be poor, it does everything to stay afloat and not be subjected to bearish or bullish trends.

Out of 1, half should be hold in ETH and rest could be invested in other coins as market starts to rise all coins mostly will rise and few will provide some exceptional multi fold returns. SO if you hold that you can double your money quickly in coming time. So spread your portfolio.

You can split it up. Keep a certain portion of your money in eth, and invest the rest in alts. Eth will probably rise, but at a smaller percentage than alts, but alts are risky obviously. So if your investment in alts fails, you will still have a portion of your eth.

I agree with you brother, maybe hold a larger percentage of eth and the rest do invest it in different altcoins but alts are risky so choose good altcoins.

If you don’t want risk and don’t wanna give more time watching the market then just buy ether and forget and see your money grow... you can buy EOS may be of 30% of ether but you should hold altleast 0.5 eth

my advice is better you buy altcoin than hold ethereum, because your profit will not be as big as you get if you invest and hold ethereum, because I think investing in altcoin is more profitable than ethereum.

I'd suggest you proportionate your 1 ETH into a profile fit to your risk appetite. Like have 0.5 ETH for holding and 0.5 ETH distributed into tokens if you'll like an average risk portfolio. 0.25 ETH and 0.75 for tokens if you'd risk further. You get the idea.

Or course, proper diligence in researching your tokens is a must.

Keeping ETH may be much less risky than buying some altcoin, but short-term benefits are also very limited. Buying alts can give you a much larger short-term profit, but it is also much more risky.
As always, it is your money, so it's up to you to do your research and decide which altcoin.

Actually invest need long time. If you want to make profit in short time, you can invest in ICO but be careful because some ICO are SCAM and it's too risky for doing that. I suggest to split in some ICO because you can reduce your risky. But it's up to you. Holding in Ether it's not to bad because if you can wait/hold until the price up to the moon, you can get many profit from that.

if I might defend Eth from giving altcoin that is not necessarily good. but if you believe there is a good altcoin and has a significant increase in value you can buy the altcoin. because sometimes altcoin also there is an increase in price up to hundreds of percent. and if that happens then you will get more profit from storing your 1 Eth.

my suggestion is better you hold altcoin which have high value like ETH because ETH price is stable. or holding Bitcoin, Bitcoin has the highest value compared to altcoin. I myself have to save ETH coin and plan to buy again ETH if already have capital.
