Well that is to show you that no one knows what will happen tomorrow, crypto currency is about taking risk, the risk could favor and it could not favor so making an investment choice is left for you to choose. I will suggest you do more research about coin and invest in one.

ETH now comes to $500, and I seem to see that the price at the beginning of the year is closer to US $400. It's really bad.

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

You do not need to change 1 ETH to another coin, you can save 50% and buy the other coins that you think are promising, or try to invest in the ICO project.

Better buy different coins, so you will earn much more. ETH is now falling heavily in price.

There are many options in the crypto market. when you log into the crypto money world you see that there are many altcoins. which you are surprised to invest in. Holding 1 ETH in your hand gives you money, but getting a altcoin adds more money.

If you don’t want risk and don’t wanna give more time watching the market then just buy ether and forget and see your money grow... you can buy EOS may be of 30% of ether but you should hold altleast 0.5 eth

I will say invest that one ethereum into ICO then get high returns in a very short time,if you hold that ethereum it may take years to give the same profits, but investing on ICO is risky so if you want high return take that risk and make huge money in short time.

Well ETH is giving the same amount of returns that other altcoins would have given you so I don't see why you would want to buy alts. Also Ethereum is the safest bet and you should avoid diversifying if you aren't pumping in new money into the crypto markets. Just relax and hodl onto your Ethereum.

It is better to keep the Ethereum, many people expect growth from it during this year.

Be careful before buying altcoin. Many projects have only a gorgeous white paper. When investing in a project, whether the project has an active and powerful community is the best Bao of the coin.

Follow me , you keep an alt. You can look at XVG this is a very powerful coin. Now the bitcoin price is going down pretty low at the cost of xvg. But as far as i' m concerned , the price of XVG will return to the price old

If you decide to hold ethereum in the end of your hold you will have same one ethereum - only matter how much it cost.
You have another option - buy alt that you can trade for ethereum. If it it good, you will have more. Make your decision

I personally would have bought 3-4 types of coins for this amount! Distributed the risks because the coins are likely to grow much more!

I think you should divide 1 ETH into two parts and buy good low-value altcoins under $ 1. The rest you should learn and invest ico well. Investing in ico is risky but if you find a good project then your assets will increase significantly. You should know before investing.

I would invest this coin in several alternative coins. But I would choose the most reliable coins from the top 20. But this is a very big risk.

It depends on what one's goal is. If it is is a long term investment than it make sense to focus on one cryptocurrency, rather than investing in few. Having a focus is important as it is a very good idea to follow the news and to try to understand the market trends. The more alt's, the more time one needs to spend on them.
