I would rather hold ETH than investing in alts that are more risky obviously. Now it is clear that market changed its trand, so ETH should reach new picks. If you are pursuing high risk and high returns, then you can choose to invest in alts.
Ethereum is an investment that is considered by most people that like to make money through crypto trading. Don't sell the coin too soon.

You should hold the ethereum you have but, try to find another way to get more altcoins, currently is not the best time to sell your cryptos, the prices are too low to get profit.

I think it would be better to invest in small altcoins with low market cap but with promising project in long term they can give more big profit than ethereum

I don't agree with you, because Ethereum has already prove its reliability and we all know that will grow big after the market dip is over. But the small altcoin may not make it to the end and see the good future.

I think you should hold half, you should buy the other half of altcoins. Doing some research and choosing 3-4 altocins and buying it, it can be profitable and risky.

Probably worth dividing the money, part of put into circulation (to invest, buying altcoyins), part to leave)) On the fit ICO you can earn excellent

I do not like to be too dependent on one or two coins, if I have 1 ETH then I will divide for some coins or tokens, and of course join ICO is the first choice and the rest I will share to buy another coin.

There wre trustable and scam coins. Watch out about those coins that ar scams. Rely on the trustable coins. About your ethereum you should try the other trustable coins and the other half is from investing

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

even you bought xvg at that time, you still got so much profit ^^
but I think, XVG is now no more than a scam coin, take so much money from investors.
you can count on some cheap coins but has strong foundation behind like TRX or OCN, some kind like that. good luck

You can buy 0.5 ETX and already buy the rest of the altkoins) But I think the amount is very small) But for a beginner in the very same time!

I think right now is the best time to invest. With the present bull run I would advise you jump on the wagon now before it's more priced.

You can split it up. Keep a certain portion of your money in eth, and invest the rest in alts. Eth will probably rise, but at a smaller percentage than alts, but alts are risky obviously. So if your investment in alts fails, you will still have a portion of your eth.
I think this advice is the most correct. If you invest in one coin, there is a great chance of losing everything. There are a lot of scam coins now
I think it would be better to hold your Ethereum. because I see the high potential for profit by possessing a highly held and highly capable Ethereum that produces much more in the future. besides with its development, this will be very good by making it the mainstay coin.

I would invest in alt coins. Now there is a lot of interesting ico. The main thing is to join the presale, look at the projects on the icobench and think it over. There are also investment spreadsheets

IF YOU GOT 1 ETH YOU SHOULD HOLD IT WHILE THE MARKET STILL DOWN !! JUST WAIT FOR THE MOMENT THAT THEY WILL RECOVER SOON!! AND THATS TIME TO SELL OR TRADE !!CAUSE MANY NEEDED ETH FOR THAT DAY ! TO INVESTING !!

I advise to hold it. well, it's safer than buying altcoin at the moment. especially now that prices are starting to improve. it could be the ETH price to $ 1000 in the near future. well, that is hope, and we do not know that.

Wink buy alts. Eth is good for rich guys . if you have just 1 ETH then invest that in good 2 or 3 alts . you will make 10X return too if that projects worked well. but getting another 5X from Eth will be harder in 2018. because its marketcap is already very high and its moving like btc. but its much solid than other alts. So i suggest you to buy some good tokens and invest $100 in a good ico too.

An Ethereum is not really a lot. You can't sell your only Ethereum now and it should continue to be. You can also continue to purchase Ethereum in this year's market.

You can go with alt coins 1st invest on good alt coin th there are many but choose it from your experience and if you watch almost all good coins down almost upto 40 % so it's a good chance for you and if you think that if eth rate is increase then you get only eth profit but if you invest in good coin then you get both coin profit like coin investment coin and eth.

i think it's not a good time to sell your ethereum because ethereum is at their throw away prices and very soon its price to the moon i.e cross its last high of $1400 and most of the marketers have predict the ethereum price up to $2500 in the end of 2018

Both options are good. If you hold your 1 Ethereum till the end of the year you can see 1 ETH worth of 1500$ or even more. On the other hand, you can invest in some other young promising alts and get even more profit. But ETH is a more safe investment I think.

You may try to minimize losses by keeping some Ethereum and other coins. If you trade short-term, then 1 Eth is rather a small amount, because you will have to pay transaction and exchange fees which is really high. But still, the final decision is up to you.
