I think that this is unlikely. ETH will not be able to bypass the Bitcoin because it is very dependent on its course like other Altcoins

Although ethereum is a strong project, but to achieve the value of bitcoin, ethereum can't. Bitcoin will still be the main one in crypto and no other crypto coins will reach bitcoin.

1. bitcoin is king, no coin can beat it
2. bitcoin has more communities than ethereum
3. bitcoin and ethereum have long spread in price

If eth can reach BTC value, then everybody happy but I doubt it will because BTC is king of all cryptocurrency. And bitcoin is a global currency and accepted by all. Not everybody is accepting ethereum yet. So I don't see it will surpass or even the price of bitcoin.

I think the same Ethereum is valuable in the cryptocurrency space, but we should not forget that it is an alt coin and that Bitcoin is the first coin. |

In my perception regarding to Bitcoin it is a digital currency or called a currency that's the reason why some bitcoin experts said that Bitcoin is possible to become a world currency, while Ethereum was a platform where you can create smart contract thru new token that will use its platform. So I don't think Eth can surpass the value of Bitcoin, it can be next into bitcoin. |

Ethereum is working on the different way. bitcoin can be considered as the alternative way for the gold. does it make sense to compare a coin which has 21 millions supply with other one that has more than 105 millions supply? |

I don't think it can. There will be way more new or similar "ethereums" in future, while that can not be said about Bitcoin. Ethereum is about a platform not about storing value. When you think of it.. it is maybe even easier to make something more useful than ETH, than something more ... valuable than BTC. BTC value is not from utility...
