At those days stock market was the king of the financial markets, but now it's value and popularity has skyrocketed. You probably wouldn't have bought millions of Bitcoins in the past since absolutely no-one knew it was going to go this far, most people were thinking that it would be cruising around a few tens-of-dollars and not really do a whole lot more than that. Then it kept growing, and people kept saying it was the new baseline, it had peaked, etc. Even if a majority of people knew about Bitcoin in the past there is a very significant chance they would have shrugged it off because there would be little interest or knowledge about the future for it. No one can say the exact forecast, but bitcoin either will go up, or go down or hang for $ 15,000 and it will be so long to flutter. I think you need to keep 50-60% of your funds in bitcoin.
