should i invest in ETH or Ripple?

recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.

Ripple is a centralised coin.

Ripple can go up to 10$, that will be its ceiling.

Eth is most likely a much safer investment at this point.

Do your own research and never take someone else's word for it.

I must be honest, this thread is a mountain of non-sense!
You have people who fail to understand the difference between the price of a currency and its market capitalisation, therefore suggesting to buy Ripple because it's cheaper than Ethereum.
Same kind of people suggesting unlikely price targets, without understanding the implications on the whole supply.
Then you have people who think that Ripple is the coin of the banks: this really makes me laugh hard, if people believe that ANY bank is willing (or even can) to use XRP for transactions and they will soon line up on Bittrex to buy XRP with its awful volatility. Yeah right... banks *might* (and it's not even clear if they are) be interested in the technology, meaning Ripple's protocol - i.e. they can use the protocol to transfer USD, EUR, GBP. This is the business model of Ripple the Company, which is completely different and separated from Ripple the Currency, which is used only to fund their company!

Overall the wisest investment strategy in this nonsense market is to spread as much as you can on several coins.. they will all move along, sometimes you'll get lucky and get the coin that trades 10x up.

I started bitcoin trading with small capital, I choose to invest in ripple coins, because I think the ripple a new coin that has the prospect of excellent growth.

Although the ripple is very good but with me investing in Etherum is safer and much more effective. I'm trying to keep a lot of Etherum to invest in ICO projects, and I also want to keep the Etherum because I trust the management team and their professional way of working with Vitalik. Etherum is having wonderful days that you can not ignore.

This two coin have good performace and for sure it will increase the price of this coins in the next few weeks.  So better if you buy bitcoin and ripple and for sure you will make a lot of profit.  Ethereum before the price is very low  after years of waiting the price become very big like ripple many people earn a lot of profit because even the price of the ripple is very cheap they alaready reach $2 and Im happy for that. I expect to the price ethereum become  $2000 this month or next month while ripple expect also the price become $5. Many people don't compared this two coin ethereum and ripple is totally different to each other the same only they have big potential to increase the price more in the next few months.

But more of ethereum because right now ETH is getting pumped while XRP is nearly done pumping up, since there is always more profit in an altcoin that is getting pumped at the present rather than something that is already pumped and may not have any more in the near future, you are better off investing more in ethereum

This is very important in taking decisions because they end up being stemmed from personal conviction and not just following the crowd. They're both great coins and an investment is solely for profits and not necessarily you love the projects per se.

Ethereum has the advantage of its blockchain and token protocol. It has a crazy demand globally. For ripple, we can't say the same thing. The owners are driving the market with rumors only. They all time time tell holders that banks will accept ripple. I don't think so.

At the present time, you should invest in ripple instead of ETH because copper ripple has great potential in the future when the support of the big company is Google. Expected in February 2018, the ripple will rise to $ 5, even $ 10. So at this point, you should consider investing in the ripple right now, surely the next 6 months will x10 the money you have invested in it.

Why you do not invest in both, your investment is more secure because your money is in both so if one down you do not lose big, in my opinion both are good investment place

I will suggest every body to invest in both cryptocurrency like etherium and ripple because they are all promissing top altcoins.
Etherium has moved to more than $1000 in price so wait the correction before investing.

I think both are good for investment but compared to ripple, ETH is the best investment for long term because ripple has very huge supply in the market and once the price is increasing people will start dumping the coin. So i think in term price ETH has great demand in the market.

Both are profitable but you should think ahead and think where you can benefit for good. Actually, even though ripple surpasses eth we can't guarantee its instability in the market that unlike eth that much more pioneer. And with that my loyalty is always in ether, no matter what and besides I'm a holder of eth like everybody here.

I think it would be better for me to invest in ETH. The XRP is only suitable for short-term investments. If you want to be safe for your investments, choose a coin with faith and promise. The price of XRP has become so chaotic that buying at these levels is risky.
