I prefer to choose Ethereum instead of Ripple, this was just because I never trade Ripple in the first place. Or you can invest both of them. You could decide 50:50 for ethereum and ripple, or you could decide 75:25 based on what you think it's better. From what I heard, both of those coins are good, so it's fine to put it in ethereum and ripple.

Invest in both. but at a different rate. 70% will invest in ETH. and the remaining 30% will invest in XRP. I do not like XRP very much but still invest in it because the profit it brings is not small. It will likely reach 1-1.5$ by the end of 2018

If you want to take your money sometimes, then it's better to invest in Ethereum, as this currency is more stable and you can at any time deduce the profit without any big loss.

recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.
Yes, of course, you have to invest in Ethereum or in Ripple. Because I believe the two coins will promise in the future.

the development of the token ripple is greatly improved but I still choose ethereum to invest because the price of ethereum is very stable and tends to increase.

We can state the fact that the forecasts regarding the cost of the crypto currency ETH are several times smaller, if compared with bitcoin. This is on the one hand good, since less destructive information falls into our attention, but on the other hand, it becomes more difficult to understand where the price of the ETH will move.

For me i will invest both.. Ethereum is very demand now and very good to invest too..Ripple is connected to bank also as their project is good too..so, i think they're both good to invest..
If i need to be honest i thought that etherum will be as good as ripple but now there are some voices and speculations that price of ripple could be greater than anytime, so this coin could be even better.

i prefer Ethereum because is powerful. It is not just a currency, it is a world in itself. It helps for anyone with a technical background to create tokens, create smart contracts and even an organization in itself. so i believe ETH is the best choice if you want to compare with ripple my friend, ripple is owned by the banks.

Both coins are good and have different uses so invest in both. ETH does have more utility as a currency for trading it for other coins or investing in ICOs.

I think those two are both good investments even though the cryptocurrency community supports decentralization and they hate banks that they will prefer ethereum much more. But think that no matter what we do, banks will still exist and we can see that by looking at Ripple's position at the coinmarketcap.

If you choose from the ether or ripple, then I would recommend the ether. The ripple team is working hard on their project and most likely they will throw some good news at the right time, which will push the price of this coin up. But if you are interested in the opportunity to withdraw money at any time convenient for you, then it is better to invest in the ether. The ether is much more stable than the ripple. Ether is a popular coin, so the demand for it will be. The trading pairs to the ether are much larger than those of the ripple, so it will be possible to calculate in which pair it is more profitable to sell the ether and get more money after the transaction.

In my opinion we are better off investing in Ethereum because altcoin is the highest value among all altcoins and there are so many who invest in this altcoin. Ethereum has proven coins that show good results and have great opportunities for the future. Also for the long term.

Why not both? I mean both Ethereum and Ripple are great coins, I'm pretty sure you won't regret investing in both of them, though honestly I'm kinda skeptical about ripple but worry not I'm sure its just me. May it be Ethereum or Ripple, long-term or short-term holding, you're in a good hands.

Ripple is moving reliably. Managers' explanations are all so promising that they will develop so quickly. But I do not think I had the old confidence.
Well in my opinion, you should invest in both of them if you have the money to invest. Both are good and might incur you good money. Besides, it makes the portfolio diversified and that reduce the risk as well. If you invest all the money in one or the other, you might be more prone to loss due to the market fall. And ETH has more potential to grow so better apportion a big part of your money for ETH and the remaining for the other.

Ripple is altcoin with huge market capitalization. Ripple has the advantage that it is accepted by many banks and used in transactions. Clearly, the ripple is also worthwhile to invest. However, if I choose between Ripple and Ethereum, I would definitely invest in Ethereum. Ethereum is the queen of the market, it is a lot of ICO projects used as platforms. Many experts predict that future Ethereum will grow strongly and have a very high value.

This is not a question. Because have no logic since I check this link : https://arewedecentralizedyet.com/
Non-minable coins (I dont call them as coin normally), always open speculations and manupulations. Because you have not control of them, but someones are.
If 81% of all supplies helds by only 100 account, this is not an investment. even worse than real stock exchanges such as NASDAQ, NYSE, etc...
