Very recently I read an article , which assumed bitcoins to be exactly like the Dutch tulip mania , the Mississippi bubble and the south sea bubble.

The author of that article (which was published in the economic times ) said it's now time to move away from bitcoins , the market has ended and the sooner you forfeit the lesser will be your loss.

What do you guys think about it ?

I am negative on that thought. This can't be true after so many developments and achievements in the crypto currencies. Its not really about the BTC but all the market beneath the blockchain. There are huge opportunities for the BTC and there currency to play key role int he development of future. The future where time will be actually very important and then we won't be having any time to check on our physical cash or neither bi financial institutes will have time to print them. Everything will be working on digital network and nothin else. This is how you should look at the BTC or crypto market as whole, its not just an investment but it is more than that and there is huge demand for it in the future. So stay tuned and be the great investors. :-) P.S>Its not a bubble for sure. Not after 8 years!

In my opinion thats impossible to happen bitcoin will never die that easy, bitcoin was already adopted in businesses around the globe and its popularity still very influential to people...most people speculates or predicts bitcoins future but honestly nobody knows what lies behind bitcoins future but as of now people who knows about bitcoin enjoys the profit that brings to different lives.Bitcoin has live for 9 years in the market and has proven to be strong even though there were circumstances and price votality issue.Due to bitcoins achievements most bitcoiners also already achieve their goals in life and has changed for a better future together with their families.

Your point of view is not accurate at all. In my view, Bitcoin will never end, because Bitcoin is simply a potential currency that has a huge potential, the future may become the official currency, so ending Bitcoin at The present moment is unreasonable at all, because at present the Bitcoin exchange rate is on the rise, so I believe that Bitcoin will be the currency of the future, replacing all existing currencies in the world.

It not the end for bitcoin, as we can check the demand is increasing. Bitcoin has been spreading its awareness even in any news its capability to increase its value. The value that attracts to the users or its benefits rather.

I don't believe it. It's all fake. There is a lot of bad info about bitcoin. We all know its all the anti-bitcoin user. All that negative issues are all made by the netizen who absolutely have no idea what bitcoin really is and how useful it is in our lives.
I also feel the same way, Like there is a plan, want to lose bitcoin fans. Although the value of bitcoin is currently shrinking, but I'm sure, bitcoin will go back up and grow, so no one will believe losing bitcoin from crypto.

This is probably a black propaganda of bitcoin haters especially the banks because they will try to do everything to destroy bitcoin and other digital currencies in which a threat to the banking system. More and more now are putting their money into bitcoin investment instead of putting their money to the banks so that the bank could use it for their clients to earned high interest rate but now bitcoin is in their path in which they need to get rid of it.

I think that the bitcoin has not completely exhausted itself, and will grow, but for such sweats it takes a lot of time

It becomes hard to trade to earn bitcoin to have an investment because of what happen in the exchanger but it does not result to end bitcoin. Bitcoin is back and increase the price now in the market where traders and investors get already an opportunity to risk their money. Little by little it will give huge profit.

Bitcoin will die one day, but that day will not come soon. I do not believe that we should leave bitcoin world any time soon. I believe that is just propaganda from people who wish do diminish bitcoin and its influence, because bitcoin belongs to no one and it is hard to control. Bitcoin threatens all other currencies out there, and that many powerful countries out there don't like. As long as people are interested in bitcoin and what it has to offer, bitcoin will not die.

This is just some FUD to make the bitcoin fall again. Then what?! They will be rushing to but a lot of it when the FUD works.

If you do believe in bitcoin then this will just be a funny joke to you. Well, I have laughed a couple of times because of the good work they have done wasting time to write such good article which only fools will believe into.
I just waste my time to read it when I have nothing to do anymore.

I started asking myself that question too but then I snapped out of it. If you just look at it realistically, bitcoin is still on the rise. THose fluctuations are only interesting to media because they like big numbers changing fast. It is common knowledge that small numbers change even faster. No mass media reporting on tron because it is not worth $10k a coin. THis common ingnorance will always be present but the goal (market/wealth decentralization) will hopefully reduce it to a minimum. But grandpa BTC will always be here guys. no matter what. Even after the bubble bursts. Even if it gets replaced by other means it will still be there. Or at least the idea.

I think the author is pretty much spot on. Bitcoin's legacy will be that is has laid the foundation for a whole new branch of the IT-industry. Bitcoin itself has already become obsolete. It will not survive in the long run because of lack of intrinsic value.

The big dip you are talking about isn't a big dip at all. It was nothing more than the market adjusting itself to more appropriate levels after so much panic buying. People constantly look at how much the price has gone down at that point, that they complete forget that even at the bottom of the dump, we were still up 1000% that year!! There are far too many doom thinkers here not looking at facts. Instead, they look at short term charts showing something completely different. It's basically the same as what the mainstream media is doing -- when Bitcoin is going up, everything is all set and well, but when the price corrects, it's a bursting bubble....

Well, I would like to add that many Journalist doesn't do proper research before publishing the article because if they would know about the bitcoin in detail then they would not have published the article in this way. Bitcoin has both haters and lovers and there is no wrong in telling the bitcoin as bubble because many people who don't know about the bitcoin always predict the bitcoin as a bubble but in fact, the bitcoin is a hidden gem and i don't want to leave bitcoin for any sake and in fact Bitcoin is my favourite trading instrument.

I have also read it often, it reasonable but I do not think that will ever happen. the main purpose of bitcoin is of course for economic progress worldwide. which I worry about is the assumption of various scholars (Muslims) who claim that bitcoin is haram because it contains usury. that's what I can not understand. and for that reason reportedly bitcoin is often rumored to be closed.

I think that dude may be right after all, but the problem is we don't know for sure when the end of this bitmania should actually happen. It may have already happened when Bitcoin touched $20,000 or we can go well above that level very soon. There is no way knowing that for certain, and unless the author of the article votes with his own money or anyone claiming similar things, we can safely ignore their comments.

If Bitcoin is over, why not short some coins?
