Talking about etherium can be the next bitcoin, i think there is big chance for this happen.
All because etherium has smart contract where many new token birn from it and it makes the demand of etherium getting higher and higher. So i think someday it could be the next bitcoin if we talk about price, popularity and strong community but not next bitcoin in technology.

Why do you say that Ethereum will be the next Bitcoin? Did Bitcoin ever mention that it would vacate its throne and give way to an alternate cryptocurrency? Or did you hear the Bitcoin supporters and investors ever say that they will all leave Bitcoin and shift to Ethereum? Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin and that means Bitcoin will stay on top of every single cryptocurrency for as long as it exists. I will support the two of course. I have a share of both the two coins but BTC will always be higher than ETH.

Bitcoin is still the leading of all currencies because bitcoin also allows you to do many things that you couldn't do conventionally because of the block chain features.

Isaacs mentions, the current market leader is clearly a bitcoin in terms of value per coin. In addition, bitcoin is also a digital currencies are best known and most widely used.

I think Ethereum will be popular only in New users and for those people who trusted it to use. Its not gonna be the next to bitcoin because I think he can't reached the amount price of bitcoin and it also gonna be popular because all people that are teaching new user are recommended to their newbie to use it as their coin to transfer it to bitcoin.
