ethereum can now be a bitcoin successor because the current ethereum platform can be the best, but if ethereum overtook bitcoin I think it would be difficult and still strong bitcoin in the cryptocurrency sector.

Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? - Through the year 2017, the value of bitcoin digital currencies go up to touch the highest level in history. However, bitcoin is not the only digital currencies whose value is streaked.
Ethereum is the second largest digital currencies after bitcoin. Until December 25, 2017 and then, according to CoinMarketCap data, the highest value reached a record ethereum, i.e. 850 us dollars with market capitalization reached 82 billion us dollars.

I doubt that. Ethereum is just a clone of Bitcoin. No matter how better Ethereum or how better its features, still Bitcoin is the King. They can be all replaced by any other coins but they can never replace Bitcoin.
I do not agree with you. Ethereum is a quick blokcheyn. On its basis, spend a lot of ICO. People are interested in it. In my opinion, the etherium will dial up and will cost no less than bitcoin now. |

Ethereum at a certain point will be more technologically than bitcoin and will start gaining growth regardless of bitcoin. I think by the end of 2018 we will feel it, and by 2020 Ethereum will be the main currency.

In my opinion Ethereum already lives its last days. There are too much difficulties that Buterin slowes to much. I believe in Cardano and EOS...

It will happen, because Ethereum has smart contracts and there's alot of ICO under this coin and Ethereum is mineable it will depends on the community on how many people they will demand the price but ofcourse we should respect bitcoin. Without bitcoin we don't know Ethereum.

Well you have a point in your idea we cannot deny that ethereum have a great platform and developer inside thats a reason it so easy to create coin using there smart contract but in my opinion it cannot surpass bitcoin why? Because day by day more people are knowing bitcoin potential and the market volume are really huge. |

Ethereum is certainly a very interesting and promising project. But do not say that he will ever be able to displace or replace bitcoin. This is unrealistic. Bitcoin is a coin for storing and accumulating funds, just for calculation. Ethereum is a coin for holding ICO, smart contracts and so on. They have completely different goals.

Ether peaked somewhere around $1,200 to 1,400 if I'm not mistaken. Mid December 2017 to mid January 2018 was awesome to be in crypto. And then the bear market has begun.  |
