ETHER always remains in second place and will not be able to replace bitcoin. Many people trust only bitcoin, even though it is technologically obsolete.

Actually the main thing is that bitcoin is used widely by different companies for their businesses and people are more familiar with bitcoin because of this thing that is why I will not say that ether will get the place of bitcoin. Ether is coming to second but only because of the investors are the merchants are not that much in the use of ether.

Ethereum will not be the next Bitcoin. bitcoin fame will be hard to beat by eth. Bitcoin has now become an invaluable coin even though the price sometimes plummets but the bitcoin enthusiasts are increasing. Almost the whole world knows bitcoin, some even become controversial. In contrast to eth, which in back bitcoin, which becomes the number two coin after bitcoin. However, when the price is cheap, many people are investing with bitcoin versus eth.

I said it to many peoples that ethereum will do the same like bitcoin did last year.
but bitcoin is not comparable,  you cant compare bitcoins with any coins,any crypto without bitcoin is altcoin no matter what it is.

Yup many people know about Bitcoin but they not aware of altcoins. that's why the ETH is sitting in second place. and the price of the bitcoin and last year price chart attracting people to invest in only bitcoins. To attract people ETH must cross $2k margin within short period of time then only ETH can compete with BTC or else it is not possile.

Ethereum will be the most popular altcoins in this year and still in the future, that is undeniable true, but it can be equal to bitcoin, bitcoin is unique and not easy to be replaced by another altcoins, so ETH will hardly become the next bitcoin and i believe not much investors will want ETH replace bitcoin in the future while they are still using bitcoin as their primary incomes now.

I think that could happen, as evidenced by the rapid increase in Ethereum prices even though the price is currently falling, but I believe the price of ethereum slowly returns to normal and increases again in price.

It is possible to imagine etherium replacing BTC in the future, as many people prefer etherium because it is faster, more economical and convenient.

I don't like comparing bitcoin with any alt coin actually. Bitcoin is completely different story. Ethereum is the king of alt coins and it will stay the same for long time but comparing it to bitcoin and increasing expectations won't do any good to ethereum. I am not expecting ethereum to increase to level of bitcoin any time soon and bitcoin will hit new all time highs so let's not compare them and let them go on their own ways.

I don’t really see much logic in what you are saying. If the price depend on the supply and demand which is I believe very correct then what stops ethereum to become currency number one? The demand for ethereum is high since it supports smart contracts and mostly used for ICOs. It has no straight connection to BTC. Could you explain why BTC will start to grow rapidly if ethereum will?

Bitcoin is a unique and first coin! She is very known, it is a cryptocurrency symbol. ETH has a few other tasks, certainly it is very perspective and popular, but a gdavny coin still bitcoin...

well, this might not be a guarantee, but there is a possibility that ETH can be the next dominating Cryptocurrency, it still has a long way to go and for this to happen, BTC has to take an impossible deep dive which i cant see happening anytime soon. The fact that ETH is the second most popular and valuable Cryptocurrency doesn't also mean that other Alt-coins with great projects such as XMR, and Litecoin don't have a chance.as i see it, if BTC goes to the group, the top coin position is still very open.

ethereum is alt-coin that has a high price and will remain as an alternative coin we have besides bitcoin as it gets in so many ways so I think bitcoin and alt-coin will still be positioned now

I do not think so if there are other coins that are launched with a good marketing strategy,,,then it can be compared between etherum or bitcoin because they both good qualities that people needs
