You think it would be more profitable than mining ETH?  We have to assume that ETH will continue going up as BTC goes down due to this HF as has been the case.

wpalczynski are you still kissing the black ass of Africoin to receive his 100% correct amylases?  Grin

whats the color of his skin got to do with anything? racism on the sly is still racism, there's enough stuff dividing us already as humans.

Its not racism to correctly observe how someone looks, dont be so uptight, Bitcoiner. We can talk openly here.

However and I agree with you, its pretty fucking arrogant to call other "ass-kissers" for acknowledging alternative opinions. Afrikoin has good track record and put his free time into sharing it with us. Unlike this immature brat "Gillete", who seems to base his entire self-worth on success or failure of his actual gambling trip. Lets not lose more time on him. Even passing look at his post history reveals, that he is short on prozac.

I dont think so. We might see a small correction, but the next all time high is well above current price level.

1700-2000 per bitcoin might be in the play.

Yeah, there's a reason virtually every alt coin is tanking. The BTC train is clearly leaving the station.

95% of the altcoins will fail regardless of what bitcoin does, it's those 5% you need to watch out for.

ETH is already 1/4th of the value of bitcoin. Dash is also a large contender.

Bitcoin is not invincible, and they should not act like they are.

Just curious, but how is Bitcoin acting like "they" are invincible? Apart from the few individuals on whichever side of whichever argument that can be conjured, I think most of us in crypto see any kind of dominance from any coin as ultimately good. Bitcoin grows, alts grow. Altcoins grow, so does Bitcoin.

In general, you would be right. Bitcoin IS like a large star with a massive gravitational field. When it grows it pulls others with it. In the long term.

In the short term it burns them to crisp as speculators sell their bags to participate in the formation of bubble.

We could observe that clrearly already back in 2013. First in bull market. Then in reverse during bear market. At first altcoins skyrocketed as speculators left bitcoins near apex and bought stashes of alts. Entire cryptocurrecncy market ballooned by then.

However, once it was clear that Bitcoin, the star was in for downwards spiral, all altcoins followed suit, many crashing even harder as their price was so much easier to manipulate.

Yea but this gravitation not need to be necessary to be good thing for alt, its ok for them now but what will happen next will they still follow or will they stop at some point or they will first fall. Sure this is good for those who mine alt but for me bitcoin will remain prime one have some strange feeling that when one alt start falling all will rapidly follow. That is big lost for investment from this point.

China is nearly $100 below Western prices. Small correction could be happening right now or possibly soon, looks like most Western exchanges are just staying flat right now. Not big news but just something seemingly unnoticed.

I still think we will trace the fractal (2012-2013). And are somewhere in the area marked in red. The scale is logarithmic. Linear-the place where we are going to be difficult to distinguish from the "floor". Hehe. (Я пo-пpeжнeмy cчитaю, чтo мы тpaccиpyeм этoт фpaктaл (2012-2013).
