I am actually seeing less of this suddenly. I think there will still be airdrops that require KYC, because it does *seem* like a good way to weed out multiple accounts or bots.

KYC for the bounty of participants is still possible the right decision, only the most annoying for me is KYC for investors, for people who invest money do check their identity, why?

Fortunately, there are still very few bounty programs that require KYC verification. I think it is a wrong procedure because there is no regulation in the world that requires verification of identity to those who participate in the bounty campaigns. The speech is different for those who buy the tokens, in this case the KYC verification is right

I think this is because there are so many cheats nowadays because they are involved with many accounts at the same time

I think that it is not surprising at least - I see different reasons for that; since they pay us - why should we accept their requirements?

How is this why? The fact of the matter is that you are paid money and they have the right to demand anything! Moreover, the state and new laws and inspections require them. Alas, soon everything will be through KYC.

I am sure that such requirements are completely illegal, because this way it loses personal life and its anonymity in the network. It is better to conduct KYC for those people who are developing the project, this is the right decision.

The major reason many of us joined cruptocurrency is because of it give the opportunity to be anonymous so I do not understand the reason for kyc verification

I think that it is quite possible to call fraudulent actions on the part of the ICO team. Signature campaign participants do not invest their money in conducting ICO and therefore are not subject to a KYC review. This is all the initiative of the ICO team, which is aimed at not paying the earned tokens to the signatory campaign participants. If the team, in terms of joining, wrote about the possible conduct of such a verification, or initiated such a verification before joining, I could still hardly understand it. However, to demand it after the completion of the ICO, I do not see any sense here, except that if someone for whatever reasons refuses to pass it, they will assign the tokens he counted to himself. This practice is unacceptable.

It seems to me that this is a very good procedure but when the fees are very high. To pass the indentation should people who collect and who invest in this project and we advertise simply and in this there is nothing like that.

some country like US, not allowed their people to join some ICOs, that is why some projects always use KYC for their investor because they not want to get any problem because of country that ban ICOs

I don't agree Kyc on bounty campaigns. I wouldn't risk my personal information for few hundred dollars. Maybe they can set the kyc for people who earned $2000+ in a campaign.

I still do not understand this if a person from the United States and he is not allowed to participate in the ICO, but he found a loophole and still invested, he must be punished year-long as he violates the rules of the United States

to be honest if Bounty program need a KYC it should be asked before the joining of Bounty campaign , I Don't like to give my documents just for Bounty purpose unless the project really need it

As long as they are clear about that from the beginning of the campain I don't have a problem with it.
Most people will give out their ID without a second thought, if they see an opportunity to make profits from a bounty or airdrop.

The KYC verification for the bounty hunters I think is an absurd procedure. It is right to ask the identity documents to those who invest in a project but also to ask those who receive tokens just to promote it? Honestly I do not understand this procedure...

usually kyc verification system is only used for investors only.
but if it will apply to bounty hunter, then I think many do not approve it. it is really great if the participants have to verify kyc, but for me is too complicated

I've been participated on bounty campaigns that requires KYC on their investors but I just asked the ICO team if they also require the same thing on their bounty campaign participants but they said "No, not required". Cedex and a couple of ICOs aren't requiring KYC on their bounty participants, but only initial coin offering investors and nothing more.

KYC was created since it's the basic requirement for ICO regulation but I don't think I will be getting into trouble on giving them my real identity because as an investor, we entrusted into them our hard-earned money and so as our identities.
Blockchain supposedly to be kept everything on purpose and so as our data and information.
KYC is good, but somehow there would be some disadvantages in some cases like identity theft that will result you get in trouble in the future.
