Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I think Litecoin is one of the oldest coins that still survive to this day and one of the favorite Altcoins, I see in the crypto market the Litecoin community continues to grow, Litecoin projects are good and the potential for growth is high. I believe Litecoin has a bright future.

Yes, I fully agree with your opinion,this is a very promising coin and in the far litecoin will be a reliable investment. The catch is the 'scam coin' IMHO, Bitcoin Cash is shooting for the same slot as Litecoin: ie 'silver to bitcoin's gold' slot. That to me is why LTC has been more than 'subdued in price' lately. Not a big BCH fan, just saying, that seems to be what is being jokey'd over and I think it reflects the low price of LTC IMHO. (sucks) brad |

When Charlie Lee sold his Litecoin many decided that he was leaving the project. But it's not. The Creator just sold his coins. It happens. Maybe he just needs the money. Others decided that this is a sign-the price of Litecoin no longer grow, this Charlie made this decision. I don't think that's true. Even if the price of litecoin does not rise, it is a convenient means of payment.

I don't see any good future among all coins now, it seems that crypto is starting to die already. Almost 10 months in the year 2018 has gone but still there is no sign of progressive growth in the crypto industry. |

I don't know, I don't think about the fate of the future Litecoint after the founder stopped, could survive better or vice versa, because for now all the coints are also down because of uncertain market conditions
