I think as a newcomer, you don't have trading experience, and you don't understand this market. What you need to do is to continue to hold your currency when the currency price falls. This market is very volatile and it's both falling and rising. It is a normal phenomenon, you have to slowly familiar with this market.

I don't understand people who write about selling on the falling market. Or do you mean selling at the start of falling? Of course it's better to wait patiently. If you have some assets, you may buy some promising coins. Just don't go panic...

When market falls, your faith also falls right? When you lose faith you sell your coins to stop further loss. But in the end, you realize you still lose part of your capital. Well for me the best thing you can do is wait, hold and extend your patience. Hodl until you make profit. If the market continues to go red, hodl some more.

My tactic when the market is falling is setting my stop loss at my entry price, so even if the price fall, i will get my bitcoin back and after that i will just have to find a better entry point for quick recovery profit. Holding is good but you should also know when to stop holding. I see a lot of people that claimed they hold through the bear market, dude you can have a lot more if you sell and buyback.

I want to say, better not to invest in anything now, that's a loss you make. The market is falling sharply and we have not yet identified the bottom of this decline. So, despite having great ownership, you still have the risk of losing money. but you win some experience.

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks

Thats the right thing to do my friend if the market is still dropping ,holding is the best when you are investing buy low sell high to get profit on it .

When the market falls, we should keep our cryptocurrency. Do not sell. You can also buy some when the market falls. Wait for the market to come again.

Buy low, sell high, that always holds. And don't panic, the worst investment decisions are made under the influence of panic and confusion. Whatever happens to the market, it will eventually recover, so don't sell frantically trying to salvage whatever coin you have that is losing value.

That crash was definitely not normal as there's a lot of bad news about crypto at that time and suddenly they disappeared and a lot of good news started pooping out. I agree that everyone should set stop loss at their starting price so if there's crash like that one then you don't lose a lot. I feel bad about the one that bought on the peak but they are mostly greedy and only want to get rich fast.

When the market falls there is one good option.  Hold the coins and buy even more.  And then there will be a good profit.

Moving away from digital devices and getting plenty of sun, fresh air will be the best choice.

If you did not manage to sell your coins at a good price, then when the market falls I recommend keeping your coins to better times. The market is cyclical and, as a rule, prices will again rise again soon.

If you already have a coin that you're holding then you can keep on holding since it'll be more disadvantageous for you if you sell is while the market is red when we both know that after a while there'll be a pump. If you can't wait and the coin you're hoding just kept on losing value, sell it on a green period while if you have faith in you coin because surely crypto will moon this year, keep on holding on it or convert it into BTC or ETH.

For me, a very simple tactic when the market is falling is that we buy during that period. It is a good time to buy during the dip because as you increased your portfolio, your value will grow even more when the bull run period is coming. As of now, we are not yet officially in the bullish run period because there is a mix of up and down lately. It is now trading between $9k to $9.4k in average, which the market stabilizes now.

My tactics when the market is falling were to hold on to what I already owned and either add to those coins spending ETH or additional FIAT as my funding source and also to take the opportunity to repurchase tokens at a discount I had already sold at a profit. It is prudent to buy in stages to mitigate further drops in price.

when the market is falling . don't do anything rush. because it might turn into sadness. also, don't panic. don't sell your coins because it is just the price is falling and you think it will be gone. my suggestion to you is don't overthinking about what you need to do. go with the flow and accept what happen because in life, not always win there are times that we are in failure.and last, hold the coin.

it all depends on how much money you have invested in cryptocurrency at what price you bought coins. this is the main indicator of how to behave during the fall of the market. now 2018, even a short-term drop in the market doesn't look bad. by the end of the year, many cryptocurrencies will increase the cost several times.
