Why do you want to sell it? I think when you sell it it's when that you will get some losses. What coin are you hold? It's strong Coin like ETH or BTC? If it's right maybe you can hold until last year because it will recover immediately.

I think for a novice, the best strategy in the event of a market downturn is to continue to hold your currency because you invested in it and it shows that you are optimistic about it. There is potential for growth in the future, so I think that continuing to hold will be a A good way.

ETH and BTC a coin that should be maintained, in addition to coins we can while learning to buy and sell in exchange. with coin also we can benefit if lucky in analyzing it. Choice on your own holds also includes right choice because crypto is a future asset

Turn your altcoins into Tether, or into btc/eth as these will not lose all of their value compared to some altcoins.

Of course the best option when the market falls is to hold coins until the market recovers.  And then sell the coins and make a profit.

When the market is falling, the best way for me is holding your coins for a time, because probably it will fall more and you can earn a good profit.

If you know the projects that are suitable for investment and the price of their token fixed in crypto currency, then with a serious fall of the market you can make these investments.

I think the best tactic in such moments is not to do anything and just wait for the moment when everything will turn completely red in order to acquire new and more valuable assets with a good analysis of what to buy. This will make the red market an excellent opportunity, not a panic. Try to use this tactic with the storage of stable assets. This will keep your portfolio, allow to average and make it more resilient to the manipulation and market fluctuations that we are used to seeing very often. It is also desirable to use the fact that there are always newcomers on the market, but news often works before we learn about it and the market from that seems difficult and dangerous for investments. So be careful

the bitcoin rate is falling, so it was not easy for novices from January to the present moment. The best advice may not be to invest more money in crypto than you can afford to lose.

Stay calm when prices are falling. Act responsible by not selling your coins to the market whales. That's what I do in case of bad market days. I stay high and try to understand how can I develop my trading positions.

I check the forum to see other's opinions about current trading positions as well.

The common tactic is to stay calm and hold through the dip.

Or you could double down and buy even more while they're cheap Grin

First of all, do not panic. The second is not to listen to anyone, the third is to analyze own assets, and decide what is better to sell at the stage of the initial fall, and what is better to hodl. All individually, and you better know what to do with personal assets.

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
My advice for you is to control your emotions if you saw that the cryptocurrency market is falling. I am sure that you will do panic selling if you will can't control your emotions. Just be calm and hold all of your coins.

Hi guys ,
you do not have to panic because of the drop of a coin you have. Hold and wait for the price increase again. the rise and fall of an altcoin coin can also be affected because of BTC and USD prices. so essentially if the price is good, just wait for the price of the coin to go up.

The most important thing is not to panic, be calm and do not sell all your coins. Do not be afraid of price reductions. I'm sure the price will go up again but takes time and patience.

The tactics is easy, always trade in a 30% of your portfolio, that means if the market go up and you have profit.. sell for 30% to save that profit. When market is falling, sell you 30% to save some part of your assets. The numbers of percentage depends on you.

Tactics are important when times like this. It is best to invest when the value drops down and wait tilk it rises again. Thats the trend. Rise and fall so nothing to worry and that is very normal.

Better to keep on eye on token value always. Its the best tactic for me. For short term ,when value drops better to buy more and when it rise again    sell it.

The most relevant strategy on the falling market is to close trading terminal and develop in another fields as for me. Or if you got enough money - just buy more if it goes dipper than you expected.
So bying the dip, then, as I mentioned, close terminal again even if it rises, hold, and you will be rewarded in some time. This advice will help you if you are not good at day trading(I guess you are, just because otherwise you will not create such topic). Also you can lear about this kind of trading while the terminal is closed Wink

When the market falls sharply, we must remain calm and do not want to deal arbitrarily. The best way is to change all tokens into bitcoins for the time being, which will reduce your financial risk.
