That is clear the functionalities areas of both types of tokens. ALX is pegged to fiat and will be accessible directly on exchanges. Whereas other which is called ALA is designed to be used for content purchasing. What other way will be to get ALA except buying it with ALX with 20% discount ? Will this also be purchasable even without need of ALX ?

People can buy ALA with fiat as well as I understand, but without discounts. And ALA will not be trading on exchanges?

That's right. You can buy ALA for cash in special shops partners, there won't be discounts since you buy it with cash and it won't be traded on exchanges.

How it will be calculate ALA price in fiat even if ethereum price going down. Mostly all ICO have related price to eth or btc.

ALA prices will be pegged to FIAT and only ALX will be tradable on exchanges with the key that if you will change ALX to ALA you will get the ALX price in FIAT plus 20% in ALA. But you cannot exchange ALA to FIAT. You can sell it to someone who wants to buy games and apps or buy them by yourself.

Wouldn't it be theoretically possible to also trade ALA vs fiat? For example if an exchange provides a trading pair for that? Or can ALA not leave the system?

Why would you trade ALA if it's already pegged to fiat? It would only complicated the situation. It's very logical as it is now.

You are right, it doesnt make sense to trade it, but I guess, that hazenyc was more interested in the technical background, if it is possible at all.

This is correct Frank37 and also, if you have a fiat backed currency you also have a major risk vector in your whole system. That is, someone running off with the money and everyone is screwed.

This initiative to educate your investors in easiest way through these articles is incredible thing. For new people MEW sometimes is little bit complicated and once they are familiar with it this is most easiest way to deal. I can understand such steps since public investing round is approaching fast is best way to prepare people practically.

It really can be damaging to ICO some problems in MEW, there are rumors about a possible fork that would happen this semester in MEW, with the excuse of honing old issues, new integrations, and solving user requirements.

myetherwallet and mycrypto are just users interfaces, your tokens are stored into the blockchain, as long as you have your private key you're fine. And however, like I said, you can use your json file / private key/ your ledger/trezor on mycrypto if you don't feel safe on myetherwallet, or use metamask

I am confused, i've heard about mycrypto, but i thought that would mean that myetherwallet-site would be shut down?

No the myetherwallet is still open and the measure of all things. I wouldn't use any wallet other than myetherwallet.

No, there is only an airdrop on our telegram channel that you can join by filling up this form and joining our telegram group. You have to also confirm your registration with the bot - you will find the instruction once you will fill up the form or you can ask our telegram admins 

Why did you make an airdrop instead of bounty. The budget you are spending for airdrop is not that small and could easily become a bounty budget.

Why did you choose this?

It would indeed be more feasible to make a reward, in future a vote in return with reward, often depending on the investment made in the airdrop, can become a waste and source of future eviction, many hunters may not possess the same resistance of investors

I agree with levyashin, bounties are more efficient than some random airdrops. Bounty hunters can promote your project everywhere. I think you should consider bounty option too.

It would be better if they allocated the budget to a bounty campaign. I've seen they have signatures. I'm curious if someone has used them to promote their project. Better redeploy the airdrop budget to a signature campaign and I think they will be more successful.

I don't know, to me it feels like BTC talk is a bit of a dying forum , unfortunately. Most people seem to get their info from Reddit, Twitter and Telegram. Which is a shame, cause in an ANN you can really have deep and long conversations about a project and talk to the team (which unfortunately is not the norm anymore on BTCT either)

I cant disagree completely. But ive seen many projects where the ANN thread feels completely abandoned from the project members and you hear, that they are, at the same time, very active on Telegram for example.

Using online wallets are risky. But myetherwallet got our trust so far. So i can get use to some bugs instead of trusting a new guy on the block.

myetherwallet has also gained my trust, and the code has been read over and over again. You can't say that about the new mycrypto wallet.

There is no token burning so the number of tokens will be always the same. Participants get all the unclaimed tokens based on their TGE stake. So eg. if there will be just two participants and one buys one token and second three tokens, all remaining tokens will be divided among them in 1:3 ratio. -> This means that participants WON'T LOSE but WIN. Since the TGE is only 30 % of all tokens and if the 10 % would be burned - it would mean that ALAX team would have a stronger position and bigger share - 70:20 instead of 70:30. So thanks to not burning - participants will get more tokens but with the same value so it does not have any negative effect on their investment since their TGE share will be the same but they will have a bigger share of the whole cake. We decided to take this path because we think it is fairer to the investors and the circulation supply will be bigger.

Never saw it from this side but that is of course true. If you would burn tokens developer share would be much higher then without burning. Thank you for clarifying this. I will keep this in mind also for other projects.

I can see like only moral feature in burning extra tokens - the cheaper they are, the less confidence in them do people possess. The smaller total of token almost always implies their higher exchange rate.

Well I think this is already the final decision to not hold a bounty campaign but an aidrop, this bounty question has been asked since this thread has just started, but they go with this plan. Many things have been considered for sure, the good thing is if they tell us the reason.

Well I think this is already the final decision to not hold a bounty campaign but an aidrop, this bounty question has been asked since this thread has just started, but they go with this plan. Many things have been considered for sure, the good thing is if they tell us the reason.

For the third time I find an open airdrop form for Alax. Is there a predetermined number of airdrops to perform, or is it a continuous airdrop circulating in the Community?
