I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

usually scammers bounty don't have a decent bounty campaign managers and websites, also check the road map these bounties offers and also do check the members composing the project often they would provide social media link for these people and often scammers just have a made up account that you can easily tell if it was.

Before participating in the bounty of any ICO company, you need to first analyze this ICO. Only this way you can understand a good company or scammers. Experience comes with time and work..

It is hard to identify whether an ico is a scum because most likely those ico that would not reach the market and is not earning can be considered as scum as well. This is very bad for bounty hunters because they cannot return tour time not like with the inventor where they can return the money invested. Best tip is to follow a good manager or if you can't tell a good team better join the bountyhive which will help you choose a legit campaign.

You should list those fake ICOs Bounties. Let me all look at what groups they are and who their bounty managers are so that we can have better choices in the future.

A good way to differentiate a good ICO and scam ones is the amount of funds that have been raised in the pre-sale. I know most ICOs don't post this info / don't have a pre-sale, but I generally never do a bounty that doesn't have some pre-sale amount, unless the hype for the ICO is incredible.
yes, I agree with you, before I sign up bounty, I will look at the web and make sure token sales are very good. at least has reached softcap

I believed to that statement, all scammers will exist too in this crypto world. Be careful if you want to join in bounty campaign. I suggest to look for managers that know how to do and has an experienced to sure that the campaign is not fake and legit.

You just need to choose the right projects where you enter and check if they are not crooks and only then start to spend their time on them.

The outgoing projects finished the bounty campaigns and didn't pay anything, they don't even respond to messages.
A little sad. But I believe that not all are scammers here!

With increase in awareness and adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world, the number of ICO start-ups and bounties, airdrops are also increasing. But many ICOs and campaigns are scams to fraud the people. So you have to be very careful while you sign up for a bounty project. The bounties are legitimate or fraud depends on the ICO offering it. So study the ICO properly, their whitepaper, team of developers, etc. and stay away from the bounties which involve some sort of financial investment from your side. Moreover what I have seen is that bounties of top managers generally don't go unpaid so go for managers like yahoo, sylon, needmoney, deadley etc.

See first who the Bounty manager is, how the project is prepared, which team, how many social networks are connected, what activity.

There are projects behind which managers stand, who have already raised more than one project, such projects should be trusted. They will not turn out to be an ordinary bench and, as a rule, there is a good bounty company and there are already investors.

Well, it was really hard to avoid fake bounty campaigns or those campaigns who are not paying the exact amount of price the participant should get, you should always check the platform and the manager who is handling it in order for you to ensure that they will give the pay out at the end of sale.

It is really sad to see that scammers have entered the ico zone, i think there should be some kyc process to list the campaign on this forum to stop scammers, recently symmetry fund and crestonium have scam that looked good projects but suddenly disappeared, there should be a mechanism to catch such culprits.

This is a very complex process.First I would advise to look at the reviews of already experienced specialists and listen to what they say they are much less mistaken

Unfortunately, when the ICO ends up being a scam, there is nothing you can do.  You won't be paid for your hard work and even if you did, the tokens are pretty much worthless.  It's a risk you must be willing to take if you're involved with bounty campaigns.

Nohow. There are no complete guide how to find a honest bounty to participate in so you have a risk anyway because bounty founders can refuse to pay you (there are a lot of reasons to make so) or even disappear. There are no any regulation and protection for participants.

Yes, there are many scam projects. I also took part with them at the start. For the more trusted bounty programs check the bounty managers If you are not good at research. I saw there is a thread with a trusted bounty managers list.
I don't have the thread link. But I haved list in my PC

All you have to do is to moving on, that is charge to experience, better luck next time, anything happens and you cannot recover your lost in that bounty coz we cannot trace who is that person, maybe next time make a research so that you can sure the bounty you join is genuine and not scam
