Look at the categories for team, vision and product. It's a 5 out of 5 stars or points. Does ICObench often give that high ratings in these categories? It surely speaks volumes about Cryptoflix.

The question is not about ratings.. Is icobench reliable?  some project with great promise disapear
Icobench team - they're the best in the business, in my opinion their rating in most cases seems objective. Although, of course, we must always conduct our own research.

DYOR is key in this whole ICO business..alhtouhg some help from good review sites is also needed to find some decent ICO's.

I'm glad that the project has such high ratings but they seem excessive to me, which makes me think that the score is not very reliable.

I don't know if it is excessive. A team of seasoned industry veterans is as good as it gets imo but you don't know what the criteria really was for ICObench so DYOR is always a good approach.

like I said before, do your own research, you can't just invest on what you see on a website.

Lol Icobench, where the same user and the same bot gives votes. I don't trust those websites

Those website are more a guidance. They gather the information available and build a rating on this basis. If less information is available then the rating goes down. Also they compare it to similar projects and the available data there to validify it. I mostly use them as a source for information which I might miss. Because they have every information in the same place its easy to find. With this project there are already a lot of information available, the community and members of the team are very active and thats how you get the high rating.

I look at icobench just to know which ICOs are around, I just completely ignore ratings because in my opinion are useless as hell

Totally agree with you. A quick look at the bitcointalk thread and a skim though the whitepaper will tell you much more than all those rating sites combined.

The same here. That being said, I've known at least two members of the team for some time - they're reliable, down-to-earth people. It certainly gives me peace of mind.

I am not sure about it. Yes it is not %100 accurate but sometimes they are useless.

I just check them to get to know about new projects which may be feasible to invest or have a future. Those may not be 100% accurate but moderate.

It's probably personal choice, but as for me, the ratings there help me to understand and find out more about a new project. In the majority of cases, I agree with ratings of ICOs there.

Now Cryptoflix rated at Icobench with much higher rating 4.3 - https://icobench.com/ico/cryptoflix
It's nice to see that this project was appreciated by experts!
good news according to me icobench is the best site of ico review the high mark means that the experts believe in the project, and is a good additional advertising...

There is only one rating by a human person who gave Cryptoflix a perfect 5/5/5 score. The other rating is from Benchy the ICO analyzer bot, which only checks for things like the existence of a whitepaper and the amount of social media channels.

Yes, as long as there aren't some more experts' ratings the score doesn't mean anything. And even with a rating of 20 experts it's always recommended to check the project for yourself.
Most ratings are set automatically, analyzing the presence of certain points and documents. Nobody reads these documents! roughly speaking, there can be just a file with the title and everything) So only an independent analysis can give an accurate assessment of the project!

The only thing that gives this a rating, it's any quick view of the project. But sometimes after a detailed study of the white paper understand that this project is not worthy and 1 ball, not to mention 4 or 5 !

Ratings sites can sometimes have links to whitepaper/website/social-media so that can save a bit of time for yourself too.

yes you're right it's about personal choices in my opinion do not rely on a single channel but look at more sources like rating sites, forum btk, read the whitepaper, the road map, follow the social and then get an personal idea of the project, however icobench offers excellent advertising and visibility...

As I understood from their informations the education part should be completely free, so I assume they give you the full „learning system“, whatever you understand here as a learning system.

I still do not understand this business model. The whitepaper does not go into depth either. Without ads the free content has to be subsidized by something else. Which means the paid content will be more expensive than on ad supported platforms.

There are plenty of platforms that offer free educational videos. YouTube comes to mind. It is omnipresent and offers low bandwidth streams too.
