Regarding storage of the content - in my experience there are devs who believe a cloud service is the best and there are those who believe that own servers is the best. We have not yet decided which way to go on this, but when we need to make the decision we will carefully consider the pros and cons of each solution as well as look into what alternatives we have and decide what is best for the users.

The user experience is the top priority for us when we make this decision.

You might want to have a look at IPFS .. if you want to blockchain everything .. but I think this will be pretty expensive in the long run.

He hasn’t said anything about any intentions on blockchaining everything. It is impossible to blockchain unless you want the chain to big thousands of terabytes big

But it can be an alternative to the current streaming services for sure. But to get the bigger mass they need to be much better then all the giants and especially make payment with crypto easy enough to get the non crypto masses to use it.

thats right, but people moving their asset to crypto, little of them. we should keep our trust in crypto if we want to invest on there. and, we should believe that crypto is future payment technology

Agree with you. If the data is stored in the cloud, you will depend on the work of the cloud. If you have your own storage capacity, it will improve your independence.

I think it all comes down to the quality of the offered productions. Look at the first few "Netflix Originals": they had a very high quality and Netflix was able to raise their reputation through that. Nowadays, not everything thats labeled "Netflix Original" is of high quality. But this needs to be the kickstart for Cryptflix

they don't pay viewers. viewers pay for the service. token holders can invest in projects and get dividends.
