I really think that this is possible as long as the government as a whole would ban cryptocurrency. However, cryptocurrency is an innovation, the government might see it as a threat or risk now, but if they will study it further, which I am sure they are, they might see it as an advantage to adapt it.

I think the government of the world can not kill CRYPTO altogether because: First, CRYPTO does not do anything to harm the world security. CRYPTO can bring profits to the government if the government collects taxes from CRYPTO. Second: CRYPTO will not be deleted if there are still internet and connections worldwide.

I think it is very difficult to do, because already many people start investing in crypto.

that could kill crypto in the loss of the internet in the world. the policy of a country can only be limited to banning only and will have no effect on the future of crypto. as long as such in different countries, there are still those who feel the internet then crypto promises it will keep trying to enter and work in this field.

I highly doubt they could feasibly kill crypto. Even if it became "illegal," people would still use it.

Most states crypto-currency is very advantageous, as it allows to completely revise commodity exchanges between people. I do not think that they put such a goal, except that the statements of some politicians...

They might try, but I highly doubt they will ever succeed. It's too useful and becoming too popular. It would be a wasted effort on their part.

The government simply can not kill crypto at all, they can only make regulations that prohibit circulation of cryptocurency in the country so that it affects the price of all crypto. Actually it is very damaging to crypto is also a country that forbids it, because a country that wants crypto that died directly prevent people doing business crypto. The person doing the crypto business will be affected by the purchasing power of the goods or services within the country.

Yes, I think that this is one of the most important issues today, on which the future of the crypto currency will depend. I think that governments will not be able to completely kill crypto, but they can greatly affect the future.

Why should I pay taxes on something I never had? I only have it if I bring it back into fiat. Now I realize there are those spending their crypto without ever converting it back to fiat. So it's complicated.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Government won't kill crypto as the government made that innovation. Blockchain controlled by the government. At this moment is a brief timeframe while everything setups and direction is just being developed. After that all our cash will be open for the government so you would not conceal your cash from the expenses be prepared.

Of course a consortium of crypto opponents can block development in some countries, but there is another side to the coin. Progress still no one to stop it did not work and crypto eventually overcome all obstacles, because behind it the future

Even if in some aspects the state can fight the crypt, it will still be defeated, as many foreign currency investments leave just to other countries.

The governments may not be able to kill crypto, but they can discourage a lot of people from using crypto-currency. I heard from my friends in India that the volumes went down sharply there as a result of government actions.

Governments cant kill drugs which have physical form for centuries.
So they won't be able to kill cryptos, but they sure can criminalize them. Stupid enough to be implemented by govts.

Governments won't kill drugs because they are the main suppliers of the drugs. They will do the same with crypto and control that also.

Nice article in my own humble opinion government can only regulate the use of cryptocurrencies but they cant kill it,because other countries has already seen the good things which cryptocurrency offers, most of the countries that banned cryptocurrency activities like ICOs,trading are the ones who are in the power which clearly why they dont want cryptocurrency, decentralization will make people's freedom to transact anonimously which would have some negative impact, the government will find it hard if someone has done illegal activities like smuggling plus these transactions are not being taxed, which is the main reason why they are making their move to stop the cryptocurrencies adoption.

Yeah you're right the government can regulate crypto. But they can not kill it easily. Because crypto is a decentralized transaction and it ca not easily be trace to the government. Unless they blocked all the sites that could affect the transaction of crypto.Especially the blockchain.

I think this is impossible, because the bitcoin is diversified, so even if one country banned the bitcoin, but other countries can still support the bitcoin, as long as there is work force in the world in the running of the bitcoin, the bitcoin is not going to disappear.

I do not think governments want to kill Crypto. They just want to regulate it properly.
Slowly, governments have started embracing cryptos such as Venezuela launching it Petro crypto
and some other countries about to do that in coming days. So cryptos are here to stay and go mainstream
next.
