Another UPFUCK!

Today I got my Miner. They send me an Invoice (Lets say something that looks like an invoice "Order complete" thing)

"Order Total  $$2,448.00"

and know what?! For Custom Tax the put on "$3,499.00"

UAHHHH! Again fucking everybody up! Do they really have to do it?

Ill try to get that back somehow - need to talk to the customs...cause USUALLY you pay Tax for the price you pay? Right? If I would pay have pay Tax for the price that its worth, I would have to pay LESS than for $$2,448.00...know what i mean`?

Edit: Sorry I mixed up number, now its correct!

when importing something you always pay taxes for what you have paid for it, not for what it is worth.

If it happens to me, We well reject package(s) and will contact our lawyers. Exactly the same will follow if they don't send money on time. We are waiting for refund for 1 CCD and many(>40) CCR, so cost of swiss lawyer will be acceptable comparing to amount of cash illegally held as hostage by bitmine.

Something has finally snapped for me.  Refund requested.

I requested a refund earlier, but got news from support that lead me to believe the Rigs were just about to be delivered, and so I changed my mind and held on a few weeks longer.  After all, I bought a Rig because I really wanted a Rig.

Now, I've lost faith.  Ironically, now that I've requested a refund it wouldn't surprise me if the Rigs started shipping.  However, I'm committed to the refund, since I have made other uses of my money.

It is 126 days since the agreed shipment date for my Rig.  I'm well within my CPP rights to request a refund.

If any successful refunders have any advice, that would be welcome.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

dont make them bankrupt or everyone will lose everything even with a laywer you spent money for.

I'm quite willing to push them into bankruptcy using a distraint order and a Geneva based lawyer. Put it this way, if they can't afford to pay me the relatively small number of BTC they owe me then you're all toast anyway. If that is the case, better make it public so as to stop new people getting scammed.

noticed that you had changed the first $amount
if you have paid 2,448 for the order then the customs should be calculated according to that.
if they have put 3,499 as price for customs then you can ask you countrys customs for advice or contact Swiss customs directly and tell them that Bitmine is stating prices wrongly in their exporting documents.

EDIT: are the both prices in same currency? 3,499USD = 2,520€

I think there must be one bill atached to the package with the right amount paid for ,of course minus the discount.so for that amount VAT must be paid.

Just got an answer from mr Kerim regarding rejected package from courier or postal office,I asked also if there;s a way to have money back if the package will be returned to bitmine and...

No, your order will be kept here and you can come to pick it up whenever you want.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch ''

I will receive mine this week somewhere at 8 May,2 days before the right to request the refund lol so i will pick that up cos i don't have money to deal with expensive lawyers and all that stuff ,in the end is just one single miner.we all knew the risk when we paid for this machines but now yes looks harder when we face with the reality.

So ... i have one 600Gh CCD for sale.pm me who is interested.I will not even open the box so it will be sold untouched lol.

Another funny support mail....

They dont want to provide any informations about turbo mode advanced because they do not want us to enable it. Absurd.

Quote

Kerim (Bitmine AG)

Dear Mr. XXXXXXX,

we do not want to provide too much informations which might push you to turn on the advanced turbo mode, since using it will void the warranty on your machine. The only advice I would give you is to use a reference sheet to keep track of the values and to be very careful with it. So please care when using Advanced turbo mode.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

First they promised 50% extra hashrate, the miner cannot do it, after firmware upgrade miner gets closer to the promised goal and we should stay away from the mode! I mean, is it some kind of comedy the way bitmine "works"?

And they answer still no questions about important things such as refund, compensation, missing parts and so on...

Gotta say that every email I have ever sent to Bitmine has always been answered the same or following day.  Even when I requested a refund, my email was answered quickly and professionally.  However, since then my last 3 emails asking when I was going to get my refund have gone unanswered.  The 30 days are now up and the email asking when I could expect my refund has also gone unanswered.

@girgiomassa, From reading some of the messages in this thread I can see that the non payment of your customers refunds is a growing problem. Please don't just stick your head in the sand like you did with the hardware issues. Please take just 5 -10 minutes out of your schedule, put finger to keyboard and come on this forum and tell us what is happening with regard to our refunds.

Do not expect anything from this company. Currently they post nothing in forum but keep reading it. Support is not allowed to answer questions regarding refunds, missing parts or compensation...even personal messages here are ignored from giorgio.

If you want contact to bitmine, you have to place an order again. With fresh money coming in bitmine, there is a chance that they will answer your questions ;-)

I'm waiting for 3 weeks now for an answer about changing my PSU. They delivered me the wrong one, so I cannot even run the so called turbo modes at all.

But bitmine does not care about it. They take money from customers, made promises they never could hold, and now when the miners are delivered (missing parts, missing compensations) they just ignore you...

I was happy with communication with bitmine until the point they delivered me my "order". I didn't get the ordered miner at all, I got a miner with less power (hashing and PSU).

So what does bitmine expect from scammed customers? We have to go the hard way....

So, my timeline set for bitmine to react is about to expire today.

I contacted the procuratorial in switzerland and will have a talk to them tomorrow as they said. They will do the rest and investigate bitmine.

Have fun bitmine....you didn't let me any choice, so I cannot go another way.

I read a long time quietly here. My order was set for delivery february batch 4. I ordered 1 rig unit, 2 TH/s hashing speed. Since they got problems with the rig I emailed support and asked for a change of my order into desk units about 3 weeks ago. At monday they shipped my order (1 day late -> cs said they would ship on friday, but I dont care). According to their email they deliver 3 desk units with total 3 TH/s (50% more hashing speed according to cpp). ETA will be tomorrow. Shipment is cleared in Cologne atm.

Yea they are late, but I am sick of these "scam"-comments, driving all the other customers crazy and worried about their money. In my case everything went according to ccp, so I cannot really complain about it, even if an earlier delivery would habe been nice.

So lets hope they won't deliver a package of rocks!

Cheers.

I wish you all the best with your miners.

The facts are I got a miner, wrong PSU, missing a module missing money. I always gave bitmine a chance, but they ignored everything.

So if they keep remaining money from me, deliver my machine that I did not order and ignoring mails from me...it's a scam, they have my money and i didn't get the miner I ordered. It cannot be said in other words. Thats it.

How do you call it?

The PSU is awful hot, its an EVGA 1300G2 80plus gold, so not enough for 5 modules.
Its running in turbo moderate.

I have serious heating probs here in the attic.
Have ordered heat pipes, so with FANs outside the desk
I can attach the pipes to it, and throw them out of the window.
