I have sent several txs during the last few hours, but I noticed none of them seem to be broadcasted. I don't just mean not confirmed, they don't even show up in block explorers (such as blocktrail.com, blockr.io, blockchain.info, etc). Anything wrong with Mycelium servers?

I didn't use Mycelium a whole lot recently, but as I remember it I used to be able to get details of each transaction, and copy/paste the transaction ID. Now I can't figure out how to do that. Touching a transaction in the transaction list is occasionally selecting it, sometimes just making it flicker, but mostly doing nothing. So I turned the tablet off and on again only to find that the non-broadcast transaction has vanished. When I look at the output I tried to spent at blockchain.info I don't see any pending transaction there either.

So I'm thinking I can export the xprv key, use that to find the output's private key, import it into a real Bitcoin client, and make a conflicting transaction there, just in case the first transaction is stuck somewhere in a Mycelium server somewhere. I don't want to end up paying twice...

Edit: That worked. I used something called 'pycoin' to convert the xprv... string you get from exporting the Mycelium wallet into a Bitcoin wif format private key, imported the private key, and spent the output. It was just 7 commands including the installation of pycoin:

The 'false' argument at the end of 'importprivkey' tells bitcoind not to rescan the whole chain. I know there's only one output at that address and I know its txid and vout, so scanning the chain would be a waste of time. I used the raw transaction RPC commands, but you could use the coin-control GUI in bitcoin-qt (but for that you would have to let importprivkey rescan the chain).

The "ku -W -s 0/0 $x" part is dumping the WIF format private key for the 0th non-change address in the wallet. The first 0 means "real address, not change address" and the 2nd 0 means "the first address" (it counts from zero).

Edit2: even after the new transaction confirmed, it doesn't show up in Mycelium. I've refreshed, but my balance there shows the same as it was before I spent it all.

Edit3: Edit2 is a lie. The balance does indeed show 0, but the transaction list only shows a single incoming transaction. It doesn't show the one that I made using the bitcoin-cli raw transaction.

We are currently investigating if anything is stuck at our nodes, but besides that possibility, some transactions just need ages to confirm, some block explorers report inconsistent or outdated data and there is just in general a huge load on the systems. We are checking everything, sorry for the inconvenience!

I posted this in the other thread on MyCelium but sure if the dev's saw it.

There is a possible bug in MyCelium, nothing serious.

On the Account page. I have two HD wallets and a couple of paper wallets in the Other section. Next to the HD wallets there is a total, same with the Other section and then the total at the bottom.

When setting it to USD it shows the balances in each section correctly. If I however set it to show the balances in BTC it shows 0 next to the HD and other sections. The total shows the right balance for all accounts/addresses at the bottom when on BTC.

As said, not serious, maybe just something to look at for the next release.

I don't think that can be the problem (ie. I don't think it's an issue with the block explorers), because when I rebooted my tablet the unconfirmed transaction vanished. As if it had never happened. And I was able to successfully double-spend it using bitcoind. If the transaction was broadcast successfully surely it wouldn't vanish from Mycelium's transaction list would it?

I went into settings and stopped using Tor and was successfully able to make transactions. My past transactions that did not appear on the Blockchain, have disappeared and my balance is correct.

Twitter really does seem to be a very good place to get CS as no company wishes to give bad publicity in such a Public Forum.

I went into settings and stopped using Tor and was successfully able to make transactions. My past transactions that did not appear on the Blockchain, have disappeared and my balance is correct.

Twitter really does seem to be a very good place to get CS as no company wishes to give bad publicity in such a Public Forum.

Thanks for forwarding it here. I rarely use Twitter and it didn't occur to me as a place to look for Mycelium annoucements.

I'm pretty sure I don't use Tor at all. I never enabled it in the settings, and so I guess the Tor server isn't the only server having trouble.

I don't see that exact option. There's a use tor-network option that gives me two choices: https and external tor. However, now that I've fiddled with that option (didn't actually change the setting, still at https), it appears the pending transaction has finally disappeared and my balance is displayed like I never sent the transaction.

EDIT: I tried resending the original transaction, and now I see it on blockchain.info. Huh. Thanks for your suggestion dooglus!

Exactly where can I find that option? I only see the same as armedmilitia described: a use tor-network option that has two settings: "https" or "external tor (Orbot)". What should it be on?

Is there a way to NOT use Tor at all? I don't mind about the potential privacy risk involved. I never order child porn and terrorist attacks with Mycelium.

https is the option for clearnet (no tor).

Thenaming is maybe not that good, there used to be more options avalaible (like internal tor and tor via orbot as two tor options) so we should maybe rephrase this setting...

Is there a problem with mycelium?  i can't  see the balance of my wallet, in 'app i see 0 balance, but if you check my address from blockchain https://blockchain.info/it/address/1AyeS54tJEPEzA8oArHq8MJHqsDVA8SfuW I have  0.009640 bitcoin , why? Now I try to recharge the account (1600 private keys)
