the '25%' offered was 4 months of cloud mining. 4 months?? Whaaaa???

Should it not be 25% of the hashing power we bought times the difficulty increase between promised (paid for) delivery date and actual delivery date

This way if they deliver 2 months late the increase in hashing power will keep up with difficulty.

We are, however, still out 2 months of mining time but at least the machines hashing power will be as useful as if they delivered on time.

Thats exactly what I said some 4 or so pages back, but the only response we have received is BAMatt giving us an apology, so I would say the whole gang at BA has just stopped reading this or their own forums.  No direction on what is happening through MinerSource either, would sure like an email of my own to confirm the late shipments.  I would think with all the time they had to plan our compensation they would have effective channels in place to spread the word.

Minersource said the same 25% extra hasing yadda yadda applies > https://www.facebook.com/minersource

I'm irritated. Did only Batch 2 customers get this E-Mail, is it may only for Batch 2?
So Batch 1 could ship a little earlier?

@bobsag3, is it possible to change my shipping address of a paid X-3 on the old shopping system?

no the email was for batch1 they say the orders for batch1 will ship with batch2. We, like many of you we got in on this early for a reason .. if they dont deliver on time we will be totally hashed out of our ROI .. there is no way to make up for the 90 day delay. by then were looking at a terrible difficulty and will need 100x as much hashing power... having said that i still have my 150 furies and 10 blades powering about $150/day (all are still for sale by the way) . so its actually better right now than i thought it would be so hopefully it will will work the same for may and maybe im just overreacting a little.

The hosting mining they are offering for compensation is a small but reasonable gesture . ill give them that. no response for my refund yet.

I wonder what are those months of delay ppl keep talking about? For all my life I thought that between end of February and start of May is just one month, and it is April. Please educate me, where are those 2 or 3 monthes of delay?

And yes, I am very disappointed by delay of my order.

Doesnt March exist on your planet? Wink
Thanks, March was it Smiley so 2 monthes

I am a small time miner... but I am all in with Black Arrow :-( I have 6 of the small units on order... that 600 GH/S that is supposed to be supplementing my current 200 GH/S.

I hope they don't bone us too badly...

Stop pre-ordering!  Break your addiction cycle.
True, if it wasn't for pre-order monies funding badly organized startups, the BTC difficulty would be a tiny fraction of what it is today.

You know... we could all make the same BTC we are now if we all agreed to not participate in the arms race. I guess the smart folks will just skip all the upgrade cycles and pick back up in a couple of years.

If you managed to get every single miner in a room together they would probably all agree to this. Then on their way out they would furiously be trying to order and pre-order everything they could on their smartphone. HA! An opportunity to finally increase my position!

People are just too naturally greedy for that to work. But I do like it. You go first. Smiley

I've been following this thread simply because everything to this point seems a bit too good to be true but I do have high hopes (as I did with the Bi*Fury, Twin Fury and AntMiner).  As the prices continue to increase and delivery dates continue to move further and further away, it seems less likely these things will hit any of the hype.  If the past gives us any clue, as we approach the end of February, I suspect we will start seeing the delays and excuses roll out from Black Arrow instead of completed miners as they build their mining farms with their new Minions paid for by all the Lemmings here.  Of course I hope I'm wrong and these actually get into the hand of those who paid for them, the next few weeks will tell us for sure.

I have my seatbelt on. Wink

Man, I'm glad I had my seatbelt on!  Looks like they came out early with the delay, but still a delay or 2 to 3 months. Sad  I was close to buying one of the X1's until the price went up and Batch 2 date was updated, I am so glad I didn't now.  I've never been a fan of pre-order anything and this is one of the reasons.

So sorry to hear it for those of you who did pre-order.  The community really should pull together and demand more from these guys, so sad it'll never happen.  Guess it's back to AntMiner and ASICMiner for now or kick back and play with scrypt while we wait for the other BitCoin Miner folks to come out with something worth buying.. :/

If you can't handle a few months of delays, you shouldn't play the game. Or you could buy an asicminer gen3 device in march but I would expect to pay a premium.

BA has hardware on the shelf.  Set up a mine and get that hashing power out to your customers immediately.  BA has the means to offset much of this, but I wonder if it has the integrity, or if it has more interest in guarding it's profits.

If you have that hardware, then use it.

Great, BA have kept it promise to increase price... X-3 from $4500 > $6000 but not able to keep delivery date. That's the way to go! At least they informed about delay...  Roll Eyes

I was able to get back to the old data base from a link in an old email and my order still shows the same as it always did, "waiting for shipment" the thing that  I'm curious about is B.A didn't seem to include that order with the one I have with them in there 25% calculation in the email they sent me.

I'm also a Minersource customer and still no word from them. I had two orders, one on the old system and one on the new -- nothing from either one.

I'm really disappointed in bobsag3 right now. No word either directly to his customers or on here is really unacceptable. He was a large part of the credibility that BA had and if he doesn't get out in front of this now, his is going to go down with theirs. It really kind of pisses me off I had to learn of this on reddit and then come here and catch up on 5 pages.

Just to add my .02, yeah, the 25% is an insult, and shipping batch 2 along with batch 1 compounds the problem. Here's an idea -- keep those batch 2 machines (sorry batch 2 people) and give batch 1 users a 100% hash increase in the cloud. I personally don't want more miners as I've already had my electric upgraded planning on the machines I ordered. (Yeah, not only out the $ for the miners, but 2 racks, network upgrade, bitcoind/P2pool server and $550 electrical work.)

I've always held the belief that BTC will be a long play, hope that's the case. Best we can hope for is a significant price increase.

Guys, I've been talking with Blackarrow over PM on ecointalk and while I got some detailed answers to some of my questions, they said that they will publicly respond to questions tomorrow. (I can't post my PMs with him cuz he asked me not to disclose it since what he said to me wasn't conferred with the team, thus can't be deemed official).

Can we get someone to collate any/all of the questions and answers for those of us that may not have time or access tomorrow when this is going down?

I think our compensation should be "cloud hash" equal to 100% of our ordered hashpower, to begin when our miners were originally scheduled to ship, and ending when the miners actually ship.

That would be acceptable. In fact, MegaBigPower did that when they had a delay on a batch.
