Half year ago it seemed unacceptable and now it is usual practice, people are obligated to pass KYC in order to get some coins. I am ready to share my data in case reward will be at least 100$

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I also never join any airdrops that need kyc because it is only annoying for me and some of them are scammer or maybe identity thief but for bounties are just okay, most of airdrops last year are good and they don't need any kyc for the participant unlike today it is not worthit.

I'm not against it only if the project is really worth it. It helps to get rid of multi-accounts and other bots. but if it's not clear which company is better I will pass

Airdrop is a free token and you don't need to verify your identity to receive it.
Don't sell your identity papers because it will surely be sold and you will have difficulties if it falls into the hands of the bad guys.
I used to register airdrop with my main email and now every day I receive over 50 spam emails from airdrop, imagine how our identity papers will look like.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
I agree with your buddy. I don't recommend  submitting KYC for a airdrop. Bounty KYC are ok. But most of airdrops are scams. So how can we trust them to submit our documents?

Airdrop is only a little measure of free coin for every person. For what reason do individuals require kyc records? When you join the facebook battle some close to home data is there then kyc required? This is truly stopped unexplained and we don't know whether they truly hold our own records privacy. On the off chance that it doesn't change, trusting there is proof to sign that our own information won't be given to accomplices or other ICO ventures.

I think KYC for airdrop is not needed because airdrop is free but some airdrops, they need KYC, i think they will give you more tokens because it needs more steps to get rewards

Sadly, it is becoming the norm, and to say such has found way into airdrops now, some of them worthless and just there inside the wallet, it means this KYC of a think is going to become the trend then. If you want to do KYC, if at all, do it for coins that worth it and not coins from airdrops that would worth nothing in the long run. The submission of personal details, and here, they get to choose which they want is really really risky. It could be used against one.

I only join a few Airdrop these days cause of so many scammer lurking around on them and sometimes they sent you an email that you needed to submit KYC before you can get your token. This is inappropriate cause a free token that only cause a pennies shouldn't not required to report KYC.

KYC for participation in the airdrop is something that completely transcends reality. Avoid such projects.

I'm not going to provide my data due to a few coins that can never grow. I've seen a lot of projects that demanded the KYC from bounty hunters and it turned out to be a scam.

Nobody should give their personal information and identification in exchange for few bucks worth of coins. Most airdrops are not worth of even participating.

I'm okay about KYC for bounties, but for airdrops that's certainly nonsense, though it might be required due to some law issues, especially if the project comes from Europe. Of course, it's a bad precedence since it kills the whole idea of crypto being anonymous (what actually attracted so many people to this technology).

Kyc know your customer is a security process that bounty organisers use to protect their product. it's show your nationality and also your identity but me I don't think k. Y. C is not needed for airdrops

I have done some KYC in my past bounties effectively just on the off chance that I have a not too bad stakes however before doing KYC I tried to examine about the group and the engineers of the project. And about airdrop KYC I haven't experienced an airdrop requiring kyc yet in the event that there is, I wont chance my character uniquely if the task haven't set up a name that could be trusted.

Although asking for KYC is logical for them, it's not logical for most of us as we love cryptocurrency because of its anonymity. Moreover, issuing our documents to some unknown persons can harm us. How can we believe them? They may temporize our information, although there are some legit ICOs. However, I don't prefer to provide my identity. That's why I could not able to some of my chosen ICO even.

How many times already can we talk about the same thing. Do not participate in airdrops. And if you are asked to provide documents - be sure that this is a fraudulent scheme.

I certainly will not attend an airdrop with kyc. Apparently there are many fraudsters who only want to have my data. Many people complain about this in the forum and for that reason i stay away from such airdrops.

I do not recommend if KYC is also applied to Airdrops. It's better not to follow airdrops if they use KYC. For what to do complicated things and complicated processes for the value of tokens is very very small and its future is unclear. You will only get the burden and also the loss because you have wasted time for that little money.
