I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

I agree with you just be careful to give your data specially with unnecessary Airdrops that required KYC  its  not normal even Bounty Campaign KYC requirements is unnecessary to do its dangerous that our data will be compromise or sold. that was my personal opinion and no one has influence me.
KYC for Airdrops is really a bad topic since there is a risk of sending your data to scammers who will later sell them

This, so much this! I recently made an airdrop email to participate in a couple of drops and I am already receiving loads of spam, phising mails etc. Please ONLY do KYC for a bounty or a airdrop if you really trust them. Don't litter sensitive personal information just to have a chance on a moonshot!

I find it unreasonable to risk the risk for you when you have KYC to earn $ 15-20 airdrop. I do not know why these airdrops are doing this.

Your observations is correct and timely, naturally KYC is meant for investors and not for bounty hunters, investors KYC is needed because of the funds they are investing especially if the money is above $1000 any amount less should not attract KYC.

It's a way to get free documents from many people for free. Then these documents can be sold in a darknet and earn on it. It's a scam to demand documents to send coins for a few cents or dollars

I agree. I don't trust airdrop. Most of them are not needed by the market. They are created simply for data collection.

I dont know why the airdrop is require kyc, but i think it is because some greedy peoples who use multiple account to get free airdrop more.
so the developers use the kyc to prevent the multiple account in airdrop.

There have always been many dissatisfied with KYC, many want everything to be anonymous, but few people think that there are still many people who live in countries where KYC is not required and other things will leave them as huge goals for local securities laws. It is not worthwhile for them in trying to do something about the book - they do it in your best interest.

I do not agree with this, because the projects allocate their currency to other participants in order to promote their project and for this check the users so that there are no bots in the future, since you can lose most of the coins

Submitting my KYC particulars for investing in an ICO is far better than doing it for an airdrop or a bounty. Sometimes the airdrop tokens that you get at the end will not be worth anything to write home about. Imagine doing a KYC and getting tokens worth $2.

Previously, the passage of Kyc, meant that the project is more not Scam, now it is required wherever possible, even in airdrop, I became wary of projects that require the passage of Kyc

I always avoid bounty or airdrop that requires us to do kyc because I don't know the data we provide will be stored well or not? because I am afraid that in the future the data we provide will be used as a very bad thing

I can not understand what the Airdrop Campaign enter KYC? I can understand what investors need to pass KYC,but pass KYC bountyhunter its bad idea.It is not known what will happen to our documents and where they will be handed over or sold to someone

My advice to you is not to participate in airdrop. Want to earn ? then join the bounty.
I'll tell you honestly that you can earn a lot more on bounty ! And the fact that you get your coins too 90 percent.

Imo, KYC should not be involved in ICO as well. I know it was required by regulation, but it certainly render the "decentralized crowdfunding" meaningless.

There is one upside tho, KYC can limit the investment amount of every participants, thus give everyone equal opportunity to invest.

That's the problem here, the ICO starter want to know where their client's fund coming from and know who is their client but the client by doing KYC also imposing themselves to the risk that their credential data might be sold everywhere maybe in the darknet.
I see some of ICO that do this, they are requiring people to submit their Gov ID and then the ICO turns out to be a scam, they are not announcing that the datas they got will be sold anywhere else but I'm pretty sure that they will since it's also an easy money.
Maybe we really need a platform that's verified by government to connect us into various ICO so that we will be fine.

Save valuable identity, and if merely airdrop doesn't directly give because the value of dai airdrop is not worth the privacy of personal data. There are certainly great risks if until the identity of the kite is given for KYC. either where and for what the data will go then there will be no one knows. If paid then it can still be said to be reasonable requires KYC. But if the airdrop KYC is better avoided.

Please don't send your personal information through KYC form, for only few tokens. I personally don't participate with airdrops who demanding for KYC. Personally I don't trust on airdrops. Most of them are not needed by the market. They are developed for data collection.

Yes, now it is really more and more often required to go through the KYC procedure both in bounty programs and in airdrop, but we always have the choice to agree to transfer your data or not. On this I do not see any problems.

Is this a joke or what? A kyc in exchange of few tokens with uncertain value, I pass on this as I will never do this for the sake of free token. I just do trading and do bounty with my time and even it isn't free I know that in time it gives me a more decent profit than ever.
