The whole kyc of a thing pisses me off sometimes. People want to remain unknown in this community for security reasons. And here you come expecting me to reveal myself before I can buy you tokens or before you can give me some few tokens. I do agree that it is sometimes part of the legal requirements of the countries in which the project is operating, but the truth is that, kyc puts investors away.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

Yup. I believe that this is total bullshit also. What's worse is that people nowadays just agree to it even when the airdrops are too low just can't help but wonder how greedy these people are to let random strangers take personal information from them just for a few bucks. Heck, I even think this should not be the norm in bounties. I cannot even stress enough how pissed I am with bounties asking for kyc.

Airdrop is a token distribution absolutely free of any charge.
Maximum amount of information requested for any airdrop should include: wallet address, telegram id and probably email.
That's it. Anything else would look suspicious, a priori. Cool

I don’t like the idea of having to give out my details just to earn some pennies, how do I get guaranteed that my details would be safe and wouldn’t be used for fraud.

I think it's necessary for those who buy tokens, but for those who participate in a bounty campaign I think it's an excessive and very annoying measure

Its not normal and I think they are intending to get all your personal information, be careful of that. Airdrops didn't give a high rewards so I think they shouldn't do any KYC for it.

KYC for airdrop programs is a way to limit cheaters who want to win a lot of prizes, so I think that is very necessary. There should be fairness for everyone and KYC is a good way to do it.

Anonymity plus the fact that we are not sure of the integrity of those asking for our identity document. They may use it for fraudulent practices, considering the fact that there are several airdrop scams.

I have a personal rule, if it is an "airdrop that is not valuable" then no need to give our personal documents, it could be used for other purposes.

remember data is money.

and your data is your most valuable asset, so better be careful in choosing and sorting everywhere that should provide personal documents

Yeah, that's very bad. I never send documents to airdrops. Too risky.

Hm, this is very strange. I will be thinking 20 times before attending something like that, I hate bounties that require kyc, more than that the AirDrops, especially if it will give you something aroun $2 for that.

KYC for airdrops, for bounties it's bad precedence because most of them can be ponzi scam or something else. If you giving to any project your KYC information you must be sure in their reliability.

I wouldn't recommend doing KYC verifications for airdrops.  Airdrops are rarely profitable and if they are the amount you earn is very minimal.  The risk to rewards is not worth it if the airdrop ends up being a scam and many have been in the past.

Its good tendention for scammers, who want collect your personal data. Now she can official masking by KYC ask your ID's then instead of sending your tokens she sold your data!

Filling up KYC and giving away to the unknown and only for Airdrop who will not get big profits I think it's ridiculous and my advice should not be done because it's waste of time and again provide information yourself with useless.

Being known that most of the airdrops are scams  its a bad move. I do not do kyc for airdrop. I do it only if i take the airdrop form from the official site of the ico and if its a known ico

And what kind of reward do you get for such airdrop? Is it worth it? I thinlk that  better not to send your documents in a dubious project .

KYC for airdrops participants? I am very strange to hear this news. I strongly disagree if indeed the airdrops participants must include KYC just to get free coins. this is a strange thing. what purpose do they require airdrops participants to use KYC?

I am very bad about the procedure of the KYC, which is sometimes required to take place in the bounty. But when it is required during the airdrop, this is a bad sign. This is a red flag for anyone - it's scammers!
