I believe that the work of bounty hunters should be paid without passing KYC. This has nothing to do with investing, so the requirement for KYC is unreasonable.  Angry

KYC for a Airdrop or in general is simply ridiculous..
The idea behind Cryptocurrencies are that they stand for Anonymity!

I completely agree with you, because the provision of personal data is motivated by preventing the laundering of money obtained through criminal means. For members of the Bounty Companies This is not appropriate, so listen to the speakers expressed.

Many of the responses in this thread say 'no KYC, want things to be anonymous, etc' but keep in mind that some of us live in countries where not requiring KYC and other things would leave them as huge targets for local securities laws.  You can't blame them for trying to do things by the book - they are doing it in your interest.

Well, i was thinking that airdrops became a waste of time. Then they also started to want KYC, lol. Too much effort for nothing??? Anyways, i don’t have that much time..

Everyone should have the option to join an airdrop or to simply walk away.  If an ICO just doesn't look very good I won't spend time on it.  Too many ICOs are anonymous with very little info and if they want personal information then I just wouldn't join the ICO.  But if the ICO were more established with some history and a team then I may be more interested.

I wouldn't recommend doing KYC verifications for airdrops.  Airdrops are rarely profitable and if they are the amount you earn is very minimal.  The risk to rewards is not worth it if the airdrop ends up being a scam and many have been in the past.

Hello, I will gladly answer your question, see, the process of identity verification is an excellent solution to many problems with obtaining awards, so I think this will simplify the process of obtaining awards

I think this is too much. airdrop gives results that are not too big if compared to the bounty. If the airdrop needs KYC I guess the result obtained will not be comparable to what we do including providing ID and more.

I think it is really risky to do ,
You shouldn't trust your personal information so easily.
Specially in airdrop I think it is really too much.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

I really hate seeing kyc for any project....... seems the worldwide adoption we have been craving for came with its own problem of eroding our privacy. I wont get involved in kyc for an airdrop.

That's actually one of my red flags... If a company is open about their identities and ask for kyc for their investors, ok, that's understandable. But a company is asking kyc for airdrop? That's a no no. That data is definitely going to be sold.

Airdrops are just free and the reason why people is keep on joining air drops is because of the easy way of registration and if ico's are going to place kyc on it then there will be lesser investors and participants.

we are slowing getting to the level where any corporation with enough funs to condult a big budget bounty program will be able to over ride our decentralization we have been chanting. Many people will handle over personal data for some hundreds of dollars because it is worth more than the amount of money they make in two months as salary in their countries. As powerful as we are in this forum, we can have a say in how these things operate.

I have more check the first about reward I have got from bounty campaign or airdrop project, needed KYC or not. If there are have bounty campaign not needed KYC, I will joined and participated at this campaign bounty. The same thing will I do at the airdrop project, where not KYC needed to take and get reward it will be I joined this airdrop. But if there are many airdrop needed KYC I will leave it and try the other airdrop.

I think if the airdrop ask KYC, it is better not to join, because it is very complicated and income earned from airdrop also very small.

Beside the fact that most airdrops are thrash, they shouldn't make it more difficult by asking for KYC.
Personally if an airdrop is tasking or requires alot of conditions, I just wave it by and move on to other things. No time

I agree with you here, and also think it's dangerous to submit your personal identification (sometimes including address, etc.) in order to receive a few free tokens from an unproven project.  For an ICO with a large order of an ICO, this is more reasonable to ensure fairness and that members who from restricted regions aren't participating.  For an airdrop, I think there is too much risk involved.

Sounds funny to get the money 5 $ have to make a passport, I do not even agree with KYC. hunter finally can not get anything from his job. KYC is better applied to investors.

I think KYC is just a waste of time because i believe that those ICOs that are requiring their participants or investors for KYC verification don't really check every documents sent by these people. On the other hand, airdrops seem to be a waste of time these days too as more and more airdrops are just a pure scam so it's really a total waste of time if you combine the two.
