I would like to add more to this

1) always use 2FA for all of your accounts, but make sure to back up the QRs if you missed your mobile devices.
2) Never trust anything in the online world Smiley
3) if possible, use LastPass password manager, it will remember your passwords and correct site links ( this will help to prevent phishing attacks ). but you have to trust LastPass anyway Wink

A hardware wallet makes everything much simpler and safer. But true security, after all, is a process and not a product. So actions with caution complete the best practices.

my experience shows that there is no better protection for a hard copy of a private key, it is inconvenient for frequent use, but what if so steal

Wow thanks!! This really helps and make me gain new informations.
Good thing that i took a very serious care for my gmail, since it's related to everything and very important for me. At least maybe i can do something with it if anything bad happens.
And i never know that public wifi can be dangerous! I often use many public wifi, good thing i never make any bitcoin transaction while connected into that though. And yeah, private key surely need to be kept safely and make sure we don't lose it since it's a very important thing.
The only one that worry me is fake websites like that, since sometimes i can be stubborn and may accidentally giving my informations to those fake websites.

The biggest way to prevent hackers from stealing the coins from your wallet is to use a completely different PC or OS for crypto wallets. This way the hackers wouldn't have a way to get into your system if you only ever used the wallets. If you have a substantial amount invested in crypto markets than I would advise you to get a hardware wallet instead.

Regarding protecting the email account, all should use 2fa. Many are not even aware of that option.

Securing your cryptocurrency is very important because your wealth in cryptos are involved here. So don't trust everything when we are talking about security of your cryptocurrency because evil person can do anything to steel or to hack your property. Using a hardware wallet is one of the secured wallet you can use and do a lot of authentication and verification using your private information such as emails and phone apps authenticator. Be smart and wise to prevent hackers.

HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
the fake site is: http://www.blockchain.ga/

then once you login to the fake site then the hacker or attacker will have now your credentials. Please always check for the green lock on the url bar and the word HTTPS in the link.

so this are some of the way to stop hackers to hack your bitcoin or crypto wallet. If you have other information then you can comment it down and lets help others.

In my own opinion, to stop hackers from hacking your crypto wallet, make sure that the websites that you are entering is safe. Think before you enter websites because hackers are in some websites that you enter.

information that is very useful for beginners, and also can remind for professionals. because I think the main enemy of the cypto is hecker, so we all have to be careful and maximize your security to reduce the risk of losing our cyrpto
Truly, it’s pretty necessary for not only beginner but also all of people who still don’t prepare these skills. All the tips above both play an important role that help us to avoid being hacked. You know I find all people, before joining to this field, most of them don’t prepare a suitable knowledge, they just pay attention to the way for investing and don’t have much concerned about how to prevent their account from hacking until their wallet had lost. I hope that all of us should soonly be aware of the importance of these skills so that we can avoid the loss.

I think that the simplest and safest way to go is buying a hardware wallet, like the Ledger, Trezor, etc etc, now there are several on the market, and the private key never leaves the wallet, so no risk.

Related 2FA, I suggest to always save your security keys, you can screenshot security page when first activate it. This is in anticipation if you make changes to the device, or there is a bad thing that happens on your device. Do not lose control of the security system you use.

You cannot stop the hackers to hack your cryptocurrency wallet because that is not a possible thing since the hackers have their own decision making method on which wallet they will target. But you can do something to provide your wallet a higher level of security and one of them is having a strong password and changing it regularly, depending on your preferences.

We cannot stop those hackers to hack the crypto wallets all we need to do is to protect the wallet and make sure that we generate two factor authentication in that case our wallets will be secured.

I think hackers will not be stopped you can do only need to be vigilant and must install a very high security for the security of your wallet. technology is growing and more advanced will make the hackers become curious.

avoid entering unusual links and do not connect other people's wifi to avoid others accessing your accouns and the first is to keep your passwords to protect your wallet and account. Only me will use or have access on our gadgets like laptops and phones so no one can get personal info that can hack your account
