I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?

when market price grow up high level that time don't invest on coins because once come down the market we will loss money like you, don't worry you loss amount because  market will grow up coming months hence you keep coins hold then you will receive good profits

I think there nothing to do with that if you lost half of your crypto. Instead make it a good experience. You cant go to a success if didnt go to failure. So dont give up and try it again with slowly but sure that it will not happen again.

If you don't sell you have actually not lost anything right? If it's a dying project on the other hand its better to sell and take your loss than wait just to lose even more money.

FOMO is a common mistake that many investors make. Greed is our human nature that drives us to commit some mistakes or even blunder. First and foremost, I am sorry on what you have been through. I have felt the same way before, worse than you. I lost more than 70% of my entire portfolio's value due to the great Bitcoin crash and I "FOMO'd" too much instead of diversifying. I would have made a nice profit if I cashed out at least half of a specific token, but now I ended up cashing out an amount that is way, way, way less than the expected value. Just lessons learned. Look, I have the same situation, and I decided, that I became a long-term investor.
A these big coins will grow  higher than in was in January 2018 in 1-3 years.
So, lets wait and hodl.

Just hold it. I think i'm lucky because I cancel my plan to invest and It's right because few days from it, crypto market crash. When it happen I take that opportunity and start investing. I think you can doing like me than just holding. You also can get many dollar whne the price recover.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

Don't lose hope because you're not the only one who's experiencing the same thing. We are actually not losing our earnings while we are hodling during the dip. We might also just have big losses if we'll sell this early because the value of coins these days are too low so it is better to wait until the market recovers again.

The most important thing is not to sell coins at a low price. Until you sold the coins - you did not lose money. The market has always been restored, so it will happen this time too.
