Staking of smaller blocks will take longer but you are rewarded with a higher interest so it all evens out. More and more people are now staking, so it will take longer. Give it time. I do have some 5 coin blocks that are +45 days that haven't staked yet. But I also just got one that mined on Feb 15 that just staked last night, but I got .3 out the of 5 block. So it all evens out.
In my opinion the only time to really combine blocks are if you are getting alot of orphans, but even that it really doesn't matter much. I only do it if they gui becomes unresponsive due to many thousand of small blocks.

Hi Semajjames. That version does not contain the seed nodes. You can add nodes via rpc command addnode. Example: addnode seed.hobonickels.info add See here for more information: http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=NodeYou can also try one of the newer version if you are using windows. See here: https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels/releases Look for 1.3.1.0 or 1.3.5.0(pass is beta)

He just included instructions for adding nodes in case you don't want to upgrade for some reason. I am running 1.3.1 on win7 with no issues.

No Ryanb I am not sure off hand. I am not very proficient in mac code. I will keep this in mind and take a look. Thanks.

I am just curious, why isn't hbn on cryptorush? It seems like they list plenty of far less... 'mature' coins.

I personally do not push the coin on anyone. If the market wants it, it is here. I do always appreciate others advocating getting HBN accepted!

Hey guys, Just to let you know I've setup yet another block explorer. http://hbn.blockx.info/ It's ABE powered but I did some redesign on the frontend so it's easier to read, cleaner and mobile friendly. Check it out and let me know what you think NOTE: the database is still updating so if you check and see it's behind, it's because it's not finished yet

Personally, as I have famously argued in many places, I wouldn't recommend adding the coin to more exchanges yet. I'd give it more time to mature. Too many big exchanges can put too much downward price pressure on a coin when it's still relatively new. But, for the sake of completion, you typically need to get a bunch of people to vote and/or bribe the exchanges to get it added. Mintpal accepts btc to "buy votes" which gets you way more votes that simply voting. Crypto Rush also has a voting system, I am not sure if they accept payment for additional votes or not. I do not know if they have openly admitted to it, but Cryptsy has also been accused many, many times of adding a coin as a result of receiving compensation to do so. Really though, I would wait until the value is steadily rising and the coin is accepted at a lot more merchants. Just my two hobonickels.

I come from a background of stocks and bonds. So I measure ROI in terms of years and decades. Seems cryptionians want to measure it in days and weeks. Patience is always a good thing.
